**Possible Trigger Warning, more so in the chapters to come**
Shawn looks you in the eyes and says "You're beautiful, you know that right?" You shake your head and slightly move the jacket off of your arm and show him. He looks surprised and says the simple word "Why?"
You burst into tears. You feel so ashamed for crying in front of the most amazing person to roam the world. You're cuddled up next to him in silence for a couple minutes. Then you turn around and look into his beautiful, brown eyes. He says "You never answered my question, sweetheart."
You sigh and say "Do you honestly want to know?"
"Would I have asked twice if I didn't?"
"Ok, the reason is-- hey, could you shut the door, please?"
He nods his head and stands up. Which makes you slightly fall down, since you were leaning on him. He returns to the couch and you sit up. He sits down and puts his arm around you. He kisses you on the forehead. You hesitate to begin talking, then he calms your nerves and says "Sweetheart, you can trust me. You are an amazing girl and I wouldn't hurt you."
