Me: Baby girl time to wake up
Rain: ugh pooka I don’t wanna
Me: get up girl I have to drop you off at granny house
Rain: can I go back to sleep when we get there
Me: yea, now go in the bathroom and brush your teeth. Hurry up I still gotta pack your bag
Rain: ok.
While Rain went to brush her teeth, I packed her clothes for the next two weeks. I love my sister and she the only blood family other than granny. I gotta get her outta here out of this house before she get hurt but I guess what I do is no better. I know dealing ain’t safe let alone for a girl but it don’t even matter I protect and provide for my sister and granny. I do more than the whore of a mother in the next room. Besides granny rather Rain over at her house than here when I’m at band. So, I finished packing her and I stuff. Put the stuff in my black 4-door Silverado and went back to get Rain who was sleep on the couch cuddling with the bunny I got her for her birthday. Man what has granny been feeding her for a 3 year old that’s active she is heavy as hell man I need to get back in the gym. Finally we at granny house that hour away because she lives on the other side of town for safety reasons.
Granny: hey baby
Me: good morning
Granny: you got time to eat breakfast before you get to practice
Me: No ma’am I’m already running late. But I will see you before dinner hopefully.
After leaving granny I was headed over the trap I still had an hour before band camp started. I need to handle some stuff with Boss. Shit lately has been getting out hand and boss better that shit handled before I do. Let me Explain I broke up with my boyfriend about a month ago because I found out this nigga was cheat’n and got the bitch pregnant. But this was not any regular bitch, this was my Ex-best friend. She goes after everything I have good going for me but then Jordan did the unforgivable by messing with Rain and put her in harm’s way. Now I found out she working with some kingpin and pulled Rain into all this shit, I swear if she get hurt because of her I will kill Jordan my got damn self. As soon as I got to the trap I headed straight to boss.
Me: Morning
Boss: what’s up Robin(aka Gabriela)
Me: Nothing much I came to see what’s new about Jordan
Boss: now I don’t want you doing anything crazy and getting hurt
Me: boss you know I want to handle this. I want to get this bitch. I’m tired of her coming up to rain school messing and bringing that King around her. I swear if something happens to her I will hang the both of them by their damn toes and slit their wrist and they’ll bleed to deaf.
Boss: Brock and Joey
Me: why are you calling them
Boss: Robin you know damn well I’m not going to let you do that because it means war. Now you go to band camp I will take care of it. Brock you are to watch Rain. No one is to mess with her expect the few. Pick her up from school and take her to their granny and stay there. Joey you are to stay with Robin no matter what. If you leave her I will beat you my damn self. Robin I will not have you messing shit up so, don’t even think about opening up your mouth and saying something smart.
Me: I don’t
Boss: think about what your going to say Robin
By this point as you can imagine he was angry
Me: fine lets go Joey before I’m late.
As I turned to leave you could hear all the guys being smartass with tommy being the ring leader. Always gotta say shit. As I left the trap the Joey followed me. Shit I miss the meeting. Damn is everyone here expect me thank God I was dress before I left the house and they just started stretch block. After about an hour we did basic block to go over marching forward and backwards and slides. You know the normal marching band stuff but damn let me just say it feel like hell raised and shit damn. Luckily we train like college bands so, we now our show and I can conduct it because you know I made drum major.
