~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since the wedding the weeks have past by uneventful. It was now already December. I wasn't seeing the specialist for my back until January next year when I'm going to take more x-rays and hopefully he will tell me more about my condition, so far that's all I know.
Today is Christmas Eve and all I was doing is getting very exited that I couldn't even sleep. Great. It's not that I believe in Santa and his Elf's at my age I just love opening my presents in the morning it's like the most exiting part of Christmas for me. Josh has grown out of Christmas he doesn't even get exited for it anymore, he doesn't even get up early anymore we proactively have to get a machine to flip his bed over. Imagine what it's like on a normal day, hell. I must have fallen asleep because I started dreaming.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was quiet when I opened my eyes early on Christmas morning, everyone was still in bed, I remember when my brother and I would be awake at the same time, sometimes he would have to get me up and than we'd both jump on mum and dads bed trying to wake them up.
I got out of bed and walked down the hallway into the bathroom. I washed my hands and walked into my brothers room.
"Josh wake up, it's Christmas," he didn't reply, I knew he herd me though because he rolled onto his stomach.
I rolled my eyes and walked into the lounge room where the Christmas tree was. I stood in the doorway admiring the big green tree with presents under it all raped up in Christmas paper. I was so eager to find out what I have.
I went into my mum and dads bedroom "morning," I said stirring them.
"Morning sweetheart," mum said
"You guys waking up yet?" I asked
"Mhm," was all mum said.
"Go put the kettle on for us sweet," dad said.
"Yup," I replied walking into the kitchen and filling up the kettle from the tap water and switching it on.
My brother came out and walked pass me straight into the lounge room where the Christmas tree was.
"Morning," I said getting Josh's attention.
"Mhm morning," josh replied less enthusiastically.
Mum and dad woke up
"Merry Christmas kids ," mum said hugging us both
"Merry Christmas," dad said kissing me on the forehead and hugging josh.
"Merry Christmas mum and dad, can we open our prezzies now?" I asked
The both inhaled "yeah okay," they both said
"Yes," I said going into the lounge room.
"Why you so exited?" josh commented. I rolled my eyes
"Why are you so not exited?" I commented back.
We sat by the Christmas tree as we did every year and opened each present smallest to largest. I got a few bits and pieces but the one thing that Iv been wanting so bad was an iPhone 4 even though the new iPhone 5 was out I didn't want to be greedy.
There was two presents left over the smallest and the largest dad said to leave the smallest present last for some reason, my brother had the same sizes presents left over so I guess we had the same gifts.
