I was outside. I saw a river as it flowed north, and the sun as it shined down from the heavens.
Everything was different though.
The grass was unusual. It still waved with the wind, but it was something other than grey, it was bright. I wanted to move closer to it, as I stood in a more bland spot on the dirt. But when I tried to move something held me back...a hand. I let go but everything disappeared, black and white filled the once beautiful landscape. I looked back to the hand and entwined my fingers with it, similar to how it was earlier. All turned bright again.
Someone whispered in my ear.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I nodded my head in admiration.
"Hold on, stay with me, and it will never leave." I was about to nod my head again, but then remembered...this was a total stranger.
The voice kept calling my name, awaiting an answer.
"Macy"
"Macy" Confused, I looked to were the voice was coming from and saw a warm smile, and then everything went black.
