The music starts. I glide across the room as if there is nothing underneath me. The studio is quiet, with nothing but the gentle banging of my feet hitting the wooden surface.

I'm most commonly know by my nickname, Sass. My real name is Sasha Evergreen-Laphertz. It's a really weird last name. That's because I made it up. I'm an orphan. I lived on the streets when I was eight and found a home when I was ten. The surname was Evergreen. When they asked me when my last name was, I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember anything that happened from when I was born up until I woke up one morning on the streets. My parents didn't throw me out because they didn't want me. They threw me out because they were scared of what I could become. At least, that's what was written on the note. So when the family asked, I said, "Laphertz."

It was the last thing I remembered from the amnesia. I now have an adoptive family, containing my mother, Susan Evergreen, my father, Mitchell Evergreen and my brother, Nigel Evergreen.

The Year is 2026. This is the start of my story.
