Dean's POV;

I love him. Ever since I first laid my eyes on him, I knew it, I love him. It wasn't just his gorgeous looks, nor his beautiful smile. I didn't know quite what it was, but I knew it was love at first sight. By the way sparks flew when I saw him; by the way time slowed down as he walked past me; by the way I sit up late into the night with him on my mind.

He's driving me crazy. Even more crazy than I already am. But I couldn't let him know that.

I knew I had zero chance with him. He was popular. Everyone loved him. Unlike me, who was just a loner. But hey, I'm not complaining. It's pretty nice having everyone in the school scared of you after smashing someone's head into the concrete.

Tapping my pencil over the edge of my desk, I look up at the clock, seeing that there was still another twenty minutes of class left.

I watched as Mr. Orton's mouth moved, speaking loud and clear. However, I couldn't understand a thing he was saying. Blah blah this blah blah that. What the hell was he talking about?

"Now, since we only have ten minutes of class left, I would like to talk to you guys about something," Mr. Orton began. "Since most of us are failing this class, I think I've come up with a good idea. A project. However, it's not going to be individual. You will have one partner, and I will choose your partner. And no one will be cheating, because you each have a different assignment. So everyone listen closely."

I sighed, already knowing I was going to get some shitty partner. Maybe because I always do. Mostly the annoying ones, who never seen to shut up. Or either the ones who are too scared to talk to me. I mean, am I really that scary of a guy?

"Miz, you'll be working with Ziggler." Mr. Orton said. I sighed in relief, thanking god I wouldn't be getting either of those two. Especially Miz.

"Dean," He said, looking around the room for me as if he had forgotten my existence. When he saw me, he softly smiled. "You'll be working with Roman."

I felt my heart sink down into my chest, and my cheeks get hot. But I sure the hell hoped I wasn't blushing to where it was noticeable.

I looked over a Roman, who was only a couple rows over from me. He had his eyes locked on me, smiling. I quickly turned my head when he began to wave at me.

"Now," Orton said once he had given everyone a partner, "You guy's will have two weeks to complete this project. However, I'm not going to give you class time to do it. We're far too busy. You'll have to work on this with each other on your own time. This paper I'm passing out will explain everything. For the next five minutes, I'll let you get with your partners."

Everyone jumped up, quickly getting together with their partner. I couldn't do this. Work with my crush? No, thanks. Orton had to change this.

"Hi." Roman said, taking the desk in front of me. His smile was breathtaking. Fuck, why did he have to be so beautiful?

"Hey." I said, leaning back into my chair. I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I'm Roman." He introduced himself. Like I didn't already know that.

"Yeah, I'm Dean."

"Yeah, I know. Uh... are you free tonight?" He asked, running his fingers through his dark hair. I bit my lip, debating on whether or not I should be honest.

"Yeah, yeah I guess I can make time." I said. I just needed to get this project done and over with.

After Orton sat the paper down on the desk, Roman picked it up, reading the institutions. He chuckled.

"We're suppose to create a model compulsory fitness program for students." Roman informed. I wanted to laugh, but held it back. Half of the students in the school, hell, they wouldn't exercise if it would save their life.

The bell rang.

"Your house or mine?" Roman asked quickly.

"Uh, I guess yours if it's okay. My parents are having some company tonight." I lied.

"That'll work. I'll meet you after school by the doors. See you!" He said, rushing out of the room.

Great. Just great.
