Chapter 1
Rose's P.O.V
"AARIE! WHERE THE HELL IS MY CAMERA?!"
I stormed out of my room with an empty camera bag. I was so sure, oh so very sure, that I had place my camera in this camera bag then on top of my table.
But noooo, when I returned from my bath, I found that it was empty. And the only person in this aparment with me is Aarie.
Now, where is this woman?
She didn't reply back and I angrily stomped my way to the kitchen while taking huge and weird steps.
Because walking normally is too mainstream.
........
Uhhh, back to the point.
When I arrived by the entrance of the kitchen, Aaire was there, an empty plate with a few signs of crumbs on top of it right beside her, and she was taking selfies with my camera. I rolled my eyes and huffed in frustration. I walked towards Aarie and harshly (not too harsh) took my camera from her clutches. She protested and I narrowed my eyes at her, "Aarie, oh come on! I need the battery for my homework."
She rolled her eyes at me, "You can always charge it later. Common sense."
I grumbled at her, "Aarie...."
And all she just did was blink innocently at me while she tilted her head, "Yes?"
I smiled at her while she just sat there, completely and utterly confused.

"Do I really have to do this?"
I rolled my eyes behind my camera and continued taking pictures of Aarie as she posed in the middle of a meadow of sunflowers. She was wearing a sleeveless, black, knee-length dress. Her brown hair was down in loose, natural looking curls.
"Like you have the right to complain. I helped you with your homework's, remember? And you took my camera without permission yet you chose to act innocent. Consider this as your punishment." I replied nonchalantly, still taking pictures.
Through my camera, I could see her rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "Whatever. You and your weird overprotectiveness over your camera."
I smirked, took a few pictures, then stood up straight from my crouch position. I looked through the pictures I took one by one until I sopped at a certain picture. I smiled at it; it was perfect. It was a picture wherein Aarie was in the midst of twirling around like she was doing ballet with a flower crown (that she had dispose after a few shots with it) of sunflowers on her head, her curly hair was gracefully in mid-air, and she was laughing; her smile big and genuine.
"Did you get it?"
I smiled and held the camera right in front of her face, "Got it."
She cheered then wrapped an arm around my shoulders, "That's really good. But don't you think that, you know, that kind of shot is a bit...."
A sense of horror was creeping into me. "A bit what?"
"A bit .... overused or too normal?"
"What?"
"Like, there are lots of pictures that are similar to that. Like in Tumblr for an example."
Aarie once had majored in photography and is honestly good at it, even until now. But it just so happend that she prefers being in front of the camera rather than behind it. But she still has the skills. So when she says it's not nice or too overused, it really is too overused and definitely not nice.
After explaining, realization dawned upon me that the picture really is common now a days. Frustrated, I covered my face with both of my hands in frustration and groaned.
"What should I do? It's due tomorrow. This officially sucks."
"What should the picture be all about?"
"Enjoying Life."
"Well, this is perfect."
I removed my hands from my face.
Perfect?
Perfect?!
What the hell?!
"Explain how this is perfect." I narrowed my eyes at her.
Aarie rolled her eyes at me again. "Calm down. I didn't mean it that way-"
"Uhuh. Sure you didn't."
"Let me finish would you?!"
I shut up.
"By perfect, I meant this opportunity. You see, we've been invited into a party tonight by Emily."
"We were invited? I didn't hear of this. When were we invited?"
"Yes we are invited. She came while you were taking so long in the bathroom."
Oh.
Between Aarie and me, I always take a long time in the shower because I have this habbit or staring at the wall while the water is spraying on top of my head and just think. Think about what happened earlier; what people were doing, what the teacher has discussed and just about everything I have seen and observed.
So the fact that something had happened while I was in the shower was, in all honesty, no surprise to me.
"What about the party? How'll that help me?"
Aarie rolled her eyes and face palmed while I just....stand there, tilting my head to the side, wondering whats wrong.
"You dummy! You'll take pictures there! The theme of the picture is Enjoying Life right? So this is your chance. Take some pictures of teens enjoying and partying their life out."
I widened my eyes.
"You ... are a fucking genius. Has anybody ever told you that?"
Aarie scoffed at me, "Of course. Who the fuck do you think I am?"
