Who knew how many times she had restarted the spell, sending everyone back to before the start of the school year.  Time and time again they had failed to stop the Beast; Eliza was growing weary of making slight changes to each time stream as she restarted the time spell.  Only her and Dean Fogg continued to remember the previous loops.

However, this time she was planning on something completely different. Sealing the envelope, Eliza placed it on the table and stepped back.  With a few quick hand gestures, wrist twists and finger flicks she sent the envelope on its way to its intended recipient.

"God I hope this works!"  She sighs and collapses into the desk chair.

Alice rushes into the house on the hunt for Quentin. "Well hello Alice, something we can do for you?" Eliot questions, quite surprised from behind the bar.

"Where is Quentin, I need to talk to him." She huffs out, having run across campus.

Margo rolls her eyes and lowers her magazine, "Where else?  Probably upstairs drooling over his Fillory books."

Alice closes the door and runs upstairs, she throws up the door to his room and scares Quentin.  He gives out a small yelp and tosses Fillory and Further book one away from him.

"Shit Alice, can't you knock?" He snaps.

"Whatever, I have no time for that.  Look!" She disregards his request and sits on the edge of his bed.

"I found this under my door this morning." She hands him an envelope.

"What is it?" He asks intrigued and sits up.

"Just open it."  She rolls her eyes.

Quentin pulls out the aged paper within the envelope and unfolds it.  His brows furrow as he reads the letter and scans over the contents. His mouth opens and closes as he works to comprehend what he is observing.

"Wait, wait, wait." He repeats getting up from the bed and pacing the room. "So Eliza has reset the time loop every time we have failed and now she is giving us control of that same spell?" He analyzes outloud.

    "Well me." Alice corrects.

"What, oh right, you, the one of us who has a better grasp on magic then the rest."  Quentin concedes.

"That's not the point Quentin, the point is that if Eliza is giving us the spell we might just have a chance against the Beast."

"We need to tell the others." He admits.

She agrees and gets up from the bed, grabs the spell and letter and leaves the room.

Quentin does a double take and stumbles to follow after Alice. She marches down the stairs, walks into the living room and tosses the letter and spell onto the bar top.

"Hello again Alice."  Eliot states taking a sip of his martini.

"We all need to talk." Alice commands.

"Well miss bossy, who put you in charge?"  Margo questions.

"Look Margo, we don't have time for your sass."

"Goodness, more talk like that and you just may get me and Eliot into your bed."  Margo smirks and closes her magazine.

Quentin slides into the room and almost runs into Alice.
