Raising Death The Kid

Chapter - 11

I had followed Marie to the park. I looked at her questioningly and asked "Marie why are we at the park exactly?"

Marie smiled brightly and said "Children love to come to the park silly." I looked at Black*Star who was smiling happily and giggling with glee.

I looked down at Kid to see him awake and starring at me. I smiled a little and said "Hey Kid, ahh I'm Spirit." I waved a little at him.

He smiled and waved back to me. 'Wow, what a smart kid.' I thought quietly to myself.

I followed Marie to a sandbox and set Kid down in it with Black*Star. I also followed Marie to a close bench so we could watch them.

"So ahh....Marie why is it your don't have any kids yet?" I asked curiously.

She smiled at me and said "Well obviously you don't see a man around me unless you wanna help with that problem?" I blushed and shook my head. "That's what I thought." She grinned with a smile and watched the two boys.

I sighed and turned to watch them as well. I looked at Black*Star and wondered if he'd turn out like his father White*Star? That would mean Lord Death and I would have to kill him.

I shook my head from that thought. I looked at Marie and asked "Hey Marie? Do you know who Kid's mother is?"

Marie looked at me a bit puzzled and said "Well...no I did only meet him a couple days ago."

I nodded and looked back at the boys. Curiosity was gnawing at me, wondering who would or could be Kids mother.

Let's see... black hair, pale skin, and yellow eyes? Well his black hair could be from Lord Death and his eyes but Kids hair was dark, dark, DARK black.

So his mother probably had black hair as well, as does Lord Death. But yellow eyes? Maybe colors got mixed or maybe that's what Lord Deaths eyes are like?

I sighed and rubbed my temples.
