THE DAY I MET HIM

Chapter 9

~AT THE MEETING~
The president of the company appears and everyone gets up of their seats to greet him. After that he waits for everyone to get back to their seats, he get straight to the point of why he call the meeting
" I call this meeting today because we all have been busy these couple months and it's not the end of that busy period. Each of you have been busy with comebacks, shows, runways, movies and more. Therefore, I want to give you a round of applause and let you know what is next."
He was looking at everyone to see their reaction. When he saw the confuse and nervous look on their faces, he continues by explaining to each artist or group what was their schedule and what he want them to focus on. Then he let them all know that the meeting is done. Before IKON or you step out of the room, the president call your name and the boys:
" You are going on vacation for a couple of weeks. There will be no cameras so don't worry it will be real vacations. I still have to make your managers and other security personnel be with you but yes it is a vacation. I have a project for you guys and I need to know how you boys and girl are with each other and take a decision"
He pause again and wait for some reaction. Chanwoo was the first to raise his hand and asks:
" I am sure we are all happy about the news, but sir where are we going on vacation to?"
" Ah Chanwoo, good question. But I will not answer it since it is a surprise, but I am sure you will like it. I will leave it to each of you to start preparing to go over there. I want you guys to take these vacation time to get to know each other and create new bond"
And the president start to walk toward the door, turn and say :
"Ah yes, I almost forgot. Each of your managers has been given an amount of money for you to buy necessities for the trip. Use it well "
And he left. Leaving you surprised and confused and the boys excited to go on vacation.
You still didn't get what that vacation was about but you were really happy to leave for a while. Once you get to your apartment, you realize that first the president did not tell any of you when you are leaving exactly and also you have your dance competition coming up in a week. Since in the meeting he said that the managers have more details about the trip, you gave your manager a call:
"Hey oppa, sorry to bother you, but I know you are aware we will go on a trip. Do you know when is it? Because I have my competition and I can't miss it"
"Yah! (Y/n) who do you take me for? I'm not your manager for nothing. We arranged everything to be set after your competition"
" Really!! Thank you very much "
"No worries, I clear your schedule for you to get time to practice and crush all of them at the competition"
" Oh oppa! You know you are the best! Thank you"
"Yes no problem. Know that we will leave right after the results"
"Okay. So that means we are leaving in one week!?"
"Yes. Now get some sleep and put on your alarm to go practice tomorrow. I'll be cheering for you"
"Yes. Goodnight"
After hanging up the phone, you text Bobby to let him know about practice and see if his schedule was cleared as well
"Hey Bobby oppa, how are you?"
After a couple of minutes you got a reply back:
"Hey, not much. Me and the boys are wondering what we should bring to the trip. Did you start packing yet?"
"Oh! No I didn't start yet. I am actually texting you for another matter"
"Yes I am listening. You want to go on a date with me? Am I right?" He asks
"Oppa!! Be serious for once. No that's not why I am texting. It's about the competition and dance practice" you told him
"Oh yes true, the competition. What are we going to do? We don't even know when we are leaving. What if we can't do the competition"
"Well, you don't need to worry about that. It has been take care of. I will be able to do the competition before we leave" you send with a smiley face
"Yes, really!? That's great. The competition is in one week right" he asks
"Yes and that's one of the reasons I am texting you. I want to know if you are still willing to help me and practice with me?" You reply back
"Of course, I told you I will help you "
"Cool, are you free tomorrow? I will be in the practice room tomorrow and the days coming. I need to practice the dance since they cleared up my schedule" you text him
"Yes tomorrow is good with me. Me too they cleared up our schedule. I am all free" Bobby reply
"Perfect. Well see you tomorrow oppa. Goodnight" you send with another smiley face
"Yes, see you tomorrow. Sleep well"

BOBBY POV
At the boys house
Bobby was all smiles every since (y/n) texted him. He was so happy to know that before the trip he will be able to get closer to her and practice with her. He was so lost on his thoughts that he did not hear Jinhwan asking him about what he wanted to eat.
"Yah!! I am not going to ask you again and you going to starve. What do you want to eat?"
"I want to eat whatever you order hyung. I am in a good mood, I can eat anything"
"Why are you on a good mood? Is it because of the trip we going to?" Jinhwan asks
"Maybe, is it? Or maybe not, I am not sure" Bobby answer
"Why are you being so vague? What happened to you?"
"Nothing hyung, lets just order food and watch a movie tonight"
"Yes I agree, come let's go see the other boys"
They walked to the living room where : Donghyuk was sitting on one of the couch with his headphones on listening to some music. Junhoe was on the other end of the couch on his phone playing some games. B.I was sitting on the floor with a bunch of papers around him. Looks like he is making lists of things for the trip already. Yunhyeong was playing some weird game with Chanwoo that was involving them eating sour fruits on the other couch. Jinhwan go and sit next to B.I and say:
" I am going to order food, tell me what you want tonight?"
B.I was the first to answer:
"Chicken!! Chicken!!"
Junhoe said:
"Chicken feet!! Chicken feet!!
"I want Ramen with chicken feet and cola" Donghyuk said
"I want the same thing as Dong Dong" Yunhyeong said
"Me too, chicken and chicken feet are the best" Chanwoo said
"Okay, I got everyone order, tonight it's chicken time" Jinhwan got up to get his phone to place the order and get back to the living room
"Okay guys,I've been doing lists of what we might need for the trip and also what we need to bring" B.I start to say
"Wow!! You had time to do that already and I don't even know what type of underwear I need to bring" Bobby say
"Exactly, sorgos coming week since they clear our schedule we will concentrate on what we need to bring and buy for the trip" B.I explain
"I will be busy, so I don't know if I will be able to do it all with you guys. But I will do my part, just give me the list I have to take care of" Bobby say
"What do you mean you will be busy?" Yunhyeong asks
"I have to help (y/n) with her choreography, her competition is this week coming" Bobby answers
"Oh true! Will she be able to compete before we leave?" Chanwoo asks
"Yes apparently we will leave after the competition"
"Oh that mean we have one week to set everything" Jinhwan says
"Well I suggest to give me the list of things we need to buy since she is coming with us also, she will only need to put on the list what she needs for herself and we will not need to buy everything twice. Then we will take care of buying the stuff" Bobby suggests
"That's actually a good idea. I agree with that. What do you think Hanbin?" Jinhwan asks nervously by looking at B.I and Bobby
Bobby notice Jinhwan nervousness and look at B.I to see his reaction, but B.I had a poker face on
"So you guys going to be practicing the whole week together?" B.I asks ignoring what Jinhwan just said
"Yes, she want to be prepare for the competition and I promise her I'll help her. She just texted me a couple of minutes ago" Bobby answer B.I.
He wasn't trying to be be mean with his best friend but he wanted to have confirmation of what he thinks: that B.I also love the girl he loves. For a brief second he saw a change on B.I face like he as been hurt by what he just say but he get his poker face back on and say:
"Well I guess that's a good idea to give you the list of things to buy. I didn't start that list yet so I'll give it to you when I finish and get everybody suggestions"
Bobby nod and they talk a little more about the trip. They are the food while watching a movie, then they all went to bed. While Bobby was laying on his bed thinking about the event of today like Jinhwan nervousness about him and (y/n) spending a week together, B.I reaction or more lack of reaction about it which is unusual, Bobby was telling himself that he do not want to be in a bad position with his brothers but he had to follow his heart. He decided that he will do everything to get close to the girl he like and see how it turns out. Starting tomorrow, mission to get closer to (y/n) start, but he still fell nervous about getting in bad terms with his brothers
