Atticus wandered the train hall searching for an open cabin as students, some already wearing their house robes, ran past him in a fit of laughter. He smiled lightly as he came upon a mostly empty cabin, inside sat a young boy and a girl of about the same age. "Excuse me, do you mind if I sit with you? Everywhere else is full..."
Boy: "sure take a seat."
Atticus slowly sat beside the red headed girl. "I'm Atticus Elwood by the way, this will be my first year at hogwarts."
Girl: "Us to! Isn't it exciting?! My names Rose Granger-Weasley."
Boy: "And I'm Alvis Severus Potter. But people just call me Al."
Argentum Lyric Calvariae, A Short, Small Girl, Silently Walked Down The Narrow Train Hall. Left And Right, Cabins Seemed To Be Full Of Gossiping, Giggling Students. She'd Gotten Judgemental Looks And Disapproving Glances As Soon As She'd Gotten On. Her Bright Blue Eyes Widened With Worry, And Sooner Or Later She'd Given Up Looking For A Cabin. Instead She Stood In The Hallway, Clutching At A Small Handle Beside Her To Keep Her Balance.
Ever Since She Was 7, Her Uncle And Aunt Is Would Always Share Stories About Their Time In Hogwarts; A Place Where Magical Creatures Roamed, Wizards And Witches Could Be Themselves Openly And Freely, And There Was A Dining Pavilion Crowded With Floating Candles. She'd Heard Many Times Of Their Adventures On The Train, But This Wasn't All To Exciting.
With Her Head Leaning Back Against The Wall, Ace Gave A Sigh. "Perhaps It'll Be Better On Campus. As Soon As I Can Get My Supplies And Be Put In A House."
Rose: "So do you know any magic yet? My mom taught me plenty of potions this past summer. All in theory of course, since we aren't actually aloud to practice magic outside the school..."
Al: "Since when has that stopped us?"
Rose: "Shut up!" The girl laughed, a big grin on her face.
"You two.. you two know each other? Like before the train?" Atticus watched them quickly feeling like a third wheel.
Al: "Yea were cousins."
"Oh I see..." Atticus looked out into the hall and shrugged. "I think imma find the loo. I'll be back..." he got up and exited the room.
Ace's Head Snapped Up As Soon She'd Heard A Door Open. She Looked To The Left And Saw Nothing. When She Looked To The Right, She Jumped Back A Little, Faintly Startled. A Boy About Her Age Stood A Foot Away, Standing In Front Of A Cabin Door. She Blinked, Then Looked Away. She Knew It Was Rude To Stare.
The Train Seemed To Go A Little Faster, And Argentum Tightened Her Grip On The Handle To Make Sure She Wouldn't Fall And Embarrass Herself. Hopefully They Would Be At Hogwarts, Soon. She Was Growing Tired And Wanted To Get The Over With So She Could Sit Down."Oh sorry I didn't mean to..." Atticus stared at the girl in front of him. Her knuckles lightly kissing color as she gripped the handle beside her. "Uhm excuse me but if you would want, we have an extra seat in this cabin if you want to sit with us..." The boy stared at her then remembered why he left the cabin in the first place. "They're a bit chatty but nice enough." He squeezed past her and walked backward down the hall, "I'll be back in a moment.."
Argentum Looked Towards Him, Raising Her Eyebrows In Surprise. "O-Oh, Uhm.. Alright. Thank You" She Offered An Awkward Grin As She Watched Him Go. Once He'd Left, She Hesitantly Made Her Way To The Cabin And Opened The Door. The Two People In There Suddenly Stopped Mid Conversation And Looked Towards Her. "Uhmm.. Sorry To Interrupt. I Was Told There Was Room In This Cabin And Got Invited To Sit." She Looked Towards The Direction The Boy Had Gone In, Afraid It All May Have Been A Prank, Before Looking Back To The Two In The Cabin. The Girl Sitting Down Grinned Cheekily And Pointed Across To An Open Spot Beside The Boy. "You Can Sit There !!" She Said Kindly. As Ace Sat Down, The Girl Went On. "I'm Rose! Rose Granger-Weasley" She Sounded Very Proud As She Said It. The Boy Beside Her Then Spoke Up. "And I'm Alvis Severus Potter. Pleased To Meet You" He Held Out His Hand For Her To Shake, Which She Did In A Relieved Manner. "It's Very Nice To Meet You Both. Who Was The Other Boy?"
