Eli's Perspective
To be honest I didn't really like all the attention I was getting. Sure these girls were pretty but I'm too nervous just to say "sorry I'm gay." Anyway I was starting to get creeped out when some of them started stroking my hair. Come on Eli think, think of a way out of this mess...."I'M ON MY PERIOD!!!" I shouted out and ran embarrassed on what I just said. I got a lot of wierd stares as I ran through the hallways and into the boys bathroom. "Ugh I've got 2 periods left till the end of the day. Can't be that bad right?"
When the bell rang for english I was relieved that most of the girls earlier wasn't in my English class. "Alright everyone today we will be starting our Shakespeare project!" The teacher said as she clapped her hands for everyone's attention. When she said that everyone besides this guy sitting near the back started moaning in agony when everyone heard those 2 words, including myself. "Oh you must be the new boy! Well my names Mrs Currie nice to meet you. Well the class is currently working on Shakspear and today's the day where we will all be in partners to create a poster, leaflet and a PowerPoint. And if you need any help have this information booklet on all the plays he's done poems and more!"
She cheerfully handed over the booklet she was talking about not realising this is something not to be happy about. "Well everyone what are you waiting for I just explained the task and if any of you are stuck go on the school web page and get more details from there. Other than that we'll be working on posters today. So I'm going to be nice and I'll let you choose your own partner.
Suddenly everyone got of there seats and started partnering up. "Um excuse me can you be my partner?" I asked to this tall boy with black hair. "Sorry mate I'm with Bob" He pointed to a short chubby boy next to him with glasses to big to fit his face. "Oh alright sorry." I wandered aimlessly around the classroom until there was no one else. At least I thought.
"Oh poor Eli you don't have anyone to work with?" Asked the teacher. I shook my head. "She scanned the classroom until she got to a boy with dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes. He just slouched there hoping not to be seen even if the teacher was looking straight at him. "Ah you can go with Link!" I snickered at the name. Link...who would name their child that?! "Alright then.." I awkwardly got my bag and moved towards him and sat next to him trying not to make any eye contact.
