chapter 6

Eli took off his wife beater because it was hot. Fay looked at the big bruise he still had and ran her finger down it. Fay started think about the first time she thought that Eli liked her

It was 2 months into their friendship when Fay had that crush and Eli didn't know. One night phone the tone changed.

E: Fay I thinking when we meet the two of us can watch movies when getting close.

F: I like that idea. Fay started to think about if Eli really liked more more just a friend. Eli did kinda have a crush on her.

F: I wouldn't mind if you want to get close.

E: I don't mean that close. Eli was nervous that if he said what was really on his mind she wouldn't like him that way. To Eli she so pretty and sweet.

E: Fay you're so beautiful and sweet.

F: you're sweeter and I think you're really good looking.

E: thank you sweetie. Fay loved her conversations with Eli because felt like she could tell him anything. Fay thought that night about telling Eli she had a crush in him but she didn't.

F: do you have a crush on anyone. She wanted to know if he liked her.

E: I might like someone but I'm not sure. What about you?

F: I might have a crush on someone too. For the first time Fay would feel her heart skip a beat.

F: Eli if we were close what else would we be doing.Eli wanted to say kiss you but at this time he couldn't say that.

E: I don't know what we would do. Fay couldn't remember a day that Eli didn't make her heart melt and skip a beat. All she could think about was him. What Fay didn't know was that Eli felt the same way too and same thoughts. Fay remembered the night Eli real late. It was 3am and her phone it was Eli her face lit up and her heart felt so good.

E: did I wake you sweetie?

F: yeah but I don't care. I'm glad it's you. I missed you.

E: I miss you too. I was just sitting here thinking about so you I thought I'd call you. I can't wait till we meet I wanna meet you so bad.

F: I feel the same way too. I was dreaming about you.

E: what were you dreaming about me?

F: we were kissing and you were holding me tight while we were holding hands.

E: that sounds so sweet. The truth was that Eli had the same dream about Fay thinking about this made Eli happy. At that moment all Eli wanted to do was kiss her but he couldn't tell her that. He just lay there as his heart just melted. Eli loved listened to Fay's sweet voice as he daydreamed about her.

Hour later they hung up the phone.

E: goodnight sweetie sweet dreams. Have a great night.

F: same here goodnight. We'll talk tomorrow.

E: talk to you tomorrow. They both fell asleep with thought of each other. As Fay slept she started to dream about Eli

The dream

Fay was sitting on Eli's bed the two of the watching tv. She reached for Eli's hand and then pulled it back. 30 second later Eli grabbed her hand and held it tight. They both looked into each other's eyes and soon they were kissing. Eli turned to Fay smiling.
