Fear it settles on the outskirts of her mind,
Rendering her hepless, and hopelessly, blind.
Slowly slithering it's way,
Past false pretenses and lies,
evolving into the truth,
It's common disguise.
Soon her struggles and pleas become nothing more,
than faraway distant cries.
While fear controls her mind,
Destroying it from the inside out.
