I sat up the next morning with a huge grin on my face. I just couldn't stop smiling and I didn't have a clue as to why and then I remembered ... Sam. I got up out of bed and made my way down to our newly renovated kitchen to scour the cabinets for something to eat. I found a box of Chex cereal and had a bowl. Then I walked up to my room and checked my phone and Sam texted me 7 times I smiled to myself he really couldn't wait to hear back from me. The last thing he said was " I know you probably don't want to hear from me but I can't stop thinking about you will you go out with me?" he couldn't be farther from the truth I actually couldn't wait to hear from him and I texted him and told him to meet me at the lake we were at yesterday and he agreed. I put on my pink form fitting sundress that showed off my curves and I let my hair down and grabbed my brown flip flops. I went downstairs and noticed the message light on the phone going off so I checked the messages and my parents called from California telling me they would be home in 6 days. I was enjoying having the house to myself, oh well, I needed to go. I grabbed the keys to my jeep wrangler and my sling bag and ran out the door.

I pulled into the space of dirt that is the parking for the lake. I saw him sitting there in the early morning sun on the dock. The breath I just took got caught in my throat as his shining auburn hair shimmered and his deep tan looked even darker. I stopped for only a moment but it was long enough for him to turn around and notice everything from last years flip flops to my bleached strawberry blonde hair. Once he finished his inspection his lips spread into his adorable goofy grin I couldn't help but laugh. He motioned for me to join him so I walked over and sat down on the dock and took in the sun. He smiled and said " so what's your answer?" I cracked a smile and said " yes" I looked up at him and he leaned down and covered my lips with his in the sweetest most innocent kiss I've ever known or even heard of.

He walked me back to my car and said " will I see you tomorrow?" he looked said as if hoping my answer isn't no and I said " sure!" he smiled then jogged back to his car. I had a boyfriend and he was perfect there was no doubt in my mind and nothing was going to stop me from seeing him tomorrow. I ran inside and dropped my keys in the key bowl and my bag on the seat next to the door. I flew up the stairs and into my room; I needed to call Rach. I dialed her number and told her everything she was so happy for me and told me she was proud I finally got a boyfriend but she had to go. I was upset she had to go but said okay and she hung up. Today, I decided, was going to be spa day. I took my clothes off and put a robe on then turned my music up loud and went to my massive bathroom. I filled the tub with water and put bubbles in. I bathed and blow dried my hair I then put a herbal mask on. An hour later I took my mask off and had my nails painted, skin glowing, muscles relaxed, and hair ruler straight. I then went to my closet and delved into it to find the makeup kit my mother bought for me last Christmas. I looked up how to apply makeup on YouTube and looked great when I finished doing it on myself. If I was seeing Sam tomorrow I was going to see him looking like a southern goddess.
