J E S S I E

Jessie turned her head to the right of her, only to hear the gentle snoring of her best friend Sky.

Sky's dark brown hair rested on her shoulders as she slept. Sky looked very peaceful in comparison to the hectic morning.

The traffic had been terrible and Sky was super stressed out. Luckily they managed to make it on time for their flight. The flight, from London to LA, was 8 hours long, she should probably get some shut-eye, like Sky was.

She took another sweet from her red mi rucksack and popped it in her mouth and turning away from Sky, tried to go to sleep.

It wasn't very comfy, her aeroplane seat was by a window and even with the pathetic little blind closed it was still too bright. Jessie tossed and turned trying to find an inch, on her seat, that could possibly be good enough to sleep on.

If that wasn't bad enough the distinct hum of the plane bugged the hell out of Jessie. She tried to squeeze her eyes shut but she just couldn't nodd-off!

She could hear Sky's music playing through her ear phones if she listened really hard, silly thing, she thought, went to sleep with them in. Jessie gently took them out of her ears and didn't even need to unlock Sky's phone to know what she was listening to, Sky's favorite band of all time, Krewella.

Jessie paused the track and put the phone back in Sky's bag.

She took her own phone out of her pocket and quickly snapped a pic of Sky sleeping and then put it on Instagram with the caption '@Skyy is already tired and we haven't even arrived in LA!'.

After liking a few pictures she went on to YouTube and watched a few o2l videos and caught up on the Storytellers series.

She quickly checked out her own channel 'sunsetsandrainbows'.

Two more subscribers and she would have 1 milion, she was so proud. She had always wanted to be a YouTuber.

The vlogging, going to vidcon, collabs with other YouTubers, being a YouTuber was all she wanted to do.

Thats why she was moving to America, to pursue her dream of becoming a YouTuber, an incredibly successful one, if that. The British YouTube community was upset that she was leaving.

Her parents even more so, they didn't want her to go but seeing as Sky's parents were paying for everything and they knew that Jessie was going to be happy, they let her go.

Jessie promised that she would be back to visit but America felt like home, a home were dreams come true.

Giving one final wayward glance in Sky's direction, to find her still asleep, Jessie smiled and then gazed out of the plane window.

Searching for the first glimpse of her new life.
