Finals + best day ever

Aleks POV:

I wake up and take a shower. I come down the stairs with a very delicious familiar smell in my nose. BACON!!

I quickly jump the remaining steps and eat my breakfast, talking to my dad while doing so.

"Good morning, getting ready for the finals right?" my dad says. "yeah, it's just so soon. I was hoping for an extension, what with mom gone and things." I reply.

I soon finish breakfast and leave I get on the bus (for the first time this school year) and sit next to Eddie, and just keep repeating to myself "One day... One day." With a sad face on.

Eddie asks me what's wrong and I just reply with a simple "Nothing." "obviously something's wrong, come on speak up!" He says. "It's nothing, really." I say.

The bell rings and I leave. I ask Eddie on the bus to get off at my stop today. He replies with a simple "Sure". He says "How were the finals? they seemed pretty easy to me." "Same here" I say.

We get to my house and my dad says "I have a permanent schedule change, and I will be gone by the time you come home." " Ok dad..." I say in a sad tone. Now when I get home my mother and father won't be here. one of the downsides of getting older.

We go to the kitchen and I trip over my shoelace. I accidentally fall onto him and our lips touch. Oh how tender they were.... Wait what??? I get off him. "Sorry!" I say blushing. He replies with "it's ok, I'm sure we both wanted it to happen, if you know what I mean. Hahahhaha!"

There it was, the golden giggle. My blush deepens into a dark rose red. I ask him "Does that mean we're together?" "Do you want us to be together?" he asks. I reply with a kiss on the cheek. "I guess that's a yes then. Hahaha"
