First come first serve! The first person to claim the cat owns it.
If you want to change the cat a bit (once you own it) then go ahead! It is your cat, after all.
Please don't claim cats for fun. They are there to be used, not to be forgotten! Plus, I do spend a lot of time developing the character for your use!
Aka only adopt cats if you will use them in a book, roleplay or whatever.
