"Where have you been do you even care it's Emma's birthday our daughters fucking 1st Birthday and you aren't here," I scream madly.
"I was out and don't start (y/n) of course I care and watch your language," he says not even caring.
"Screw you Elijah," I scream again.
Emma starts crying from upstairs and I run to get her.
"Hey baby girl what's wrong love bug,"I speak softly to her.
I then can feel Elijah's presence.
"I don't know what to do anymore," I spoke softly.
"I can't do this anymore Elijah I can't,"I spoke tearing up.
"What (y/n) don't stop this is just a stupid little fight," he says more to himself tearing up.
I shake my head fighting back my tears.
"It feels like I'm raising her by myself I need time," I say softly.
"Stop (y/n) don't do this to us," he says with tears rolling down his face.
"I'm sorry but I just need time," I spoke.
"If that is what you wish I will give you time," Elijah says.
He comes closer and Emma holds out her arms saying, "Daddy."
He kisses Emma and I thought he was going to kiss me but he doesn't.

"I love you baby girl. Happy Birthday darling," he says to her.
He looks at me.
"I love you (y/n) I'll give you a week but I'm not walking away from us ever so I'll be back next week and we can fix it. I'll send Rebecca over to watch over you two. I'll be at Niklaus's if you need me," he says walking away.
"Wait," I say regretting even fighting.
He turns around.
"I love you Elijah," I say
He nods his head and turns to walk out the door.
Now all I have to do is wait till next week. But we all know he is going to be back here tonight because truth is I can't live without him.
