HELP FOR LOVE

CHAPTER 1

Maria

I jump as I hear my alarm clock go off.

"Aggghhh"

I grudge to myself,not wanting to get out of bed.

*Ring ring ring*

I hear my phone ring and start to search for it. As I look through my bed,I finally find it and answer it.

"Hello?"

I say quietly in a tired voice.

"Hey sleepy head! Hurry up and get out of bed,I can't wait to see you at school,we have a lot to talk about you know,hey,I also wanted to do something after---"

"Jacob!"

I yell, cutting him off.

"Why are you always so excited,it's like...6:30 in the damn morning."

I continue.

"I know but...I just really miss you,Maria."

He tells me in a sad tone. Great,now I feel guilty that I yelled at him like that.

"I know but...You do this every day and we was together almost all day yesterday with James,John and Carla."

I tell him.

"I'm sorry, Maria."

He tells me.

"Jacob,I will see you at school today...Okay?"

I tell him, assuring that I will.

"OK..."

He responds back to me.

"Alright,bye."

"Bye...I love you."

He tells me a little quietly. As a huge smile slowly forms on my face,I say only four words...

"I love you too."

I quickly hang up my phone then do my regular routine for the morning.

I slide into a white sweater with black hearts over it then into a light pink skirt. I wear my pink glasses and pink converses,then head downstairs to see what my family is up to. As I make my way through the the living room and into the kitchen,I see my whole family sitting at the dinner table,with only one empty seat that's open for me.

"Finally you made it,I thought you were just up there picking in your nose or something."

My younger brother tells me while giggling as I walked to the empty seat and sat down. My brother is only 11 years old,but I wish he was only 1,he's so damn annoying! His name is Luke. I wander if he has any friends at his school, probably NOT!

"Shut up booger man!"

I say,wincing my eyes at him.

"You shut up BOGGER LADY!"

"Oh,do you wanna go,cause you know I can beat you down right now you little---"

"I like to see you try,ugly girl---"

"ENOUGH! I've had it with the two of you kids!"

My dad says looking at both of us, scaring us with his dark eyes and loud voice. We both sit there quietly,looking down at our plates,filled with eggs and bacon. Without another word,dad jumps up and leaves out the front door, slamming it behind him making all of us flinch.

"Great. You see what you badass kids did? What the hell is wrong with you two?!"

Our mom speaks out. Leaving the table also,mom walks out silently. I glance at my brother then walk out the kitchen,grabbed my bookbag then went out the door and walked to school.
