The Heroes go to Hogwarts

The First Day

Annabeth's POV
We sat down in the cabin behind Harry's and closed the door. "Ok so I think the quest is going well so far." I said. They all nodded. Percy laced his fingers through mine and I put my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head. Leo rolled his eyes and Piper pushed him playfully. "Shut up. Percabeth is adorable." "Pipes, your Aphrodite is showing." Leo joked and we all laughed.

At Hogwarts

We were standing in the great hall with a bunch of first years, waiting to be sorted. Luckily our names were called first. Professor McGonagall called us up one by one and placed a talking hat on our heads that would shout out which house we were in.
"Annabeth Chase" the professor called out. I sat on the stool and the hat was put on my head. "Hmm..." it said. "Quite intelligent, but also very brave..." it debated with itself for a few minutes until it yelled out, "Gryffindor!". Then Nico went up. "After a minute or so, it said Gryffindor. Jason was Gryffindor too, and so were Piper, Leo, and Will. Hazel and Frank were Hufflepuff. Then Percy went up. The hat wasn't on his head for more than a millisecond when it screamed, "Gryffindor!". Dumbledore went over to him. "You must be very brave." Then he turned to the crowd after Percy sat down. "These are the American exchange students. Now let's carry on."

We all went back to our houses, but Dumbledore came with us. When we were all in the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore called the five of us to stay back after everyone else went to their dorms.
"Chiron told me he was sending his best. I believe he made an excellent choice." We all let out a breath. He knew we were demigods. That's good. I wasn't looking forward to hiding it from the headmaster.
"Oh and you two," he turned to Percy and me. "Chiron has requested that you share a room."

Our friends went upstairs, and Percy and I went to our room. Our bags were already there. We got changed and got ready for bed. Our robes were already laid out for tomorrow.
We climbed into bed and I kissed him goodnight, and we fell asleep.
Around three A.M. He jolted up in bed, breathing heavily. "Did you have another nightmare?" I asked him. He just pulled me into a hug. Eventually we fell back asleep.
Then there was a knock on the door. There was light streaming through the windows, so it must have been time to get up. Percy opened the door and I heard a gasp. I walked over and saw a bunch of sixth years standing outside our door. Then I saw that Percy still wasn't wearing a shirt. He had an eight pack and I saw that a girl was blushing so I glared at her and whispered to my boyfriend, "Go put on a shirt, seaweed brain."
I took his place at the door and closed it behind me. "I just wanted to tell you that we have to be at breakfast in ten minutes. Then everyone followed me." Harry said.
"Ok. Thanks Harry." I went back inside and locked the door.
We put on our robes, grabbed our wands, and headed to breakfast. We sat down next to our friends who were sitting with Harry and his friends. People were whispering about us as we walked by them. Probably about this morning.
Hermione confirmed my suspicion. "Everybody's talking about you two. It's the big Gryffindor scandal." I nearly choked on my biscuit.
"They don't think we did anything, do they?" "Well that's one rumor floating around." She leaned forward and lowered her voice. "Did you do anything? Not that it's my business, but people have been asking us."
"No! Definitely not." I said and Percy shook his head vigorously.
"Ok good because we'd probably get like 1000 points deducted from Gryffindor." She said.
I could feel my face getting hot and Percy looked the same way. Our friends burst out laughing. I rolled my eyes.
First we had Professor Binns. We all took our seats and the ghost looked around the room. When his eyes fell on Nico though, he had a mini panic attack.
At the end of class, he called Nico to stay back. Naturally we listened from outside the door. The conversation went like this: (image that nico talks like this and Professor Binns talks like this.)Nico?
Yes, Professor?
Please don't tell your father I'm here. The ghosts here are happy and so am I. Our intention wasn't ever to cheat you father. Please believe me.
I believe you.
And we certainly never expected to meet a son of Hades- wait, you do? Oh thank you sir.
However, how long do you plan on staying here?
Ummmm... I never really thought about it.
You know if my father ever did find out about this, he'd be quite mad at me for not telling him. But maybe if i had an excuse...
How about no homework and guaranteed good grades for you and your friends for the entire year? That way you could say that it was beneficial for your quest to not tell him right away.
Hmm...I like the way you think, Binns.
All I ask is that until that day, my friends and I can remain at Hogwarts.
I think I can make that deal. Pleasure doing business with you Professor.

Nico walked out of the classroom. "You guys hear that? No homework and guaranteed good grades for the entire year? I think you owe me a thank you." We all rolled our eyes but muttered thank you.

Next we had Defense Against the Dark Arts. The teacher was a woman with brown hair and blue eyes. Harry told us that she was a new professor and how there had been a new DADA teacher every year as we went to our seats.
I sat with Percy and we got our wands out as the teacher started writing something on the board. Then she turned to us.
"Hello, class. I am Professor Holifield and I will be your DADA teacher this year. So today we will be doing the patronus charm. I'm sure many of you know it, I just need to be sure everyone knows it."
She showed us how to do it, then left us on our own to practice.
Harry did it perfectly, and so did most of the class. After a few tries, we got it too. Thanks Hecate.

Mine was a little silver owl. Percy's was a horse. They flew out of our wand and around the room. Harry, Ron, and Hermione came over to us. "And you say you've never done this before? Good job, mates!" Ron congratulated us.

We went through the day and soon enough, school was over. We went to the common room for a little while.
I sat on Percy's lap on the couch. Everyone sat around except for Nico. He was standing in a corner like usual.
Harry's POV
We were hanging out with the exchange students in the common room. Everyone was sitting on the couches, or on the floor, except for Nico. He was in a shadowy corner. That kid creeped me out, but he was friends with the others so he must be somewhat nice.
Annabeth was sitting on Percy's lap and had her head on his shoulder. He whispered something in her ear then she tilted her head up and kissed him.
It was obvious how much they loved each other. Percy wrapped his arms around Annabeth and whispered something else to her. She blushed.

Then Will walked over to Nico. They talked quietly, so we couldn't hear what they were saying. Nico turned pink and kissed him.

I was surprised but I thought it would be funny if the girls who had asked about him found out. So many people have bombarded me with questions about the Americans, even though it's only the first day.

They all seemed to be paired up. Percy was with Annabeth. Nico was with Will. I looked around the room and saw people holding hands or with an arm wrapped around the other. Frank and Hazel were holding hands and Jason had his arm around Piper. He had something black on his arm too, possibly a tattoo, but he moved his arm before I had a chance to take a second look.

Suddenly Ginny was shaking my shoulder. "Earth to Harry." She said. "Oh sorry. I must have been zoning out. What were you saying?" "I said, hasn't it been a good first day?" "Yeah, totally." Ginny laughed. "Well somebody's tired. I think we should all get some sleep. See you tomorrow."
We all went to bed.
