The last time you tried to go outside it went down like this --

"Gabe would you do me the hugest of favors" you smiled, "help me get outside."

"Bam is not going to be happy about this."

Bam and you had already had it out about wanting to go outside so he knew you really shouldn't go against Bam's wishes and he shouldn't help. You had been stuck inside for days at a time since you slipped in the mud gracelessly and twisted your ankle. Bam had deemed you too accident prone to go out on the crutches by yourself so you had to get help.

"He's my problem and I will deal with him, but if I have to sit here for another minute I am going to go crazy," you pleaded to your brother-in-law.

"You married Bam, you're already crazy," he teased.

"I know, that's why I will deal with him. You know you're my favorite brother-in-law," you smile a great big cheesy smile at him hoping he would fall for your shameless attempt to get your way.

"Ok," he said as he helped you up off the couch and onto your crutches. "And I know you say that to all of us. We talk." You smiled up at him knowing that they did, but you used it all the time with all the boys when you wanted them to help you with one of your "schemes". He helped to steady you as you walked out the door and down the steps towards the fire pit.

Just as Bam saw you and yelled "Gabey" you whipped your head toward him and yelled "Joshua" interrupting the yelling lecture that he was about to spew at Gabe.

"Run Gabe," you whispered. He let out a laugh as he took off towards the beach.

"Gabey" he yells again but you cut him off.

"Leave him alone, I needed to get some fresh air."

He knew there was no getting you to go back inside after you had made it this far. "Fine" he conceded walking over and helped you the rest of the way to the bench.

He still wasn't happy that you were outside, but he was more hurt that you didn't ask him for help.

So this time you would go to him and ask to go outside for some sun and fresh air on this beautiful day.

"Please" you plead with your best cheesy smile.

You get a flat out, "No," from him.

"Pretty please," you say with the best sad, pitiful face you can muster hoping to make him feel bad.

He gives a huff of amusement but still says, "No," he turned back around, messing with something on the small table in the corner of the room.

Ok new tactic you thought. "Pretty please with sugar on top."

"No."

"Pretty please with sex on top."

"Who's on top?" He shot those eyes that you love so much your way.

"Whoever you want as long as I get to go outside," you say coyly.

Happy with his end of the deal, he helped you up and out the door. He was always protective of you. You were not that accustomed to the bush life when you met. You could fish, but didn't really care for it, too much sitting and waiting for an impatient person like yourself.

You were only okay at chopping wood. On a couple occasions the ax had flown from your hands landing too close to various members of your new family, so you were deemed a hazard and asked to not chop wood anymore.  Which was kind of upsetting, especially because that was one chore you didn't dislike as much as some of the others.
