Dear Friend,
It's really late now but oh well I can't sleep. Today, well, yesterday was my first day back after break. It wasn't to bad besides that fact that I had to start gym and got moved away from my friends in math. I made up with my other friend though, so that was a very good thing. We are talking about new year resolutions and I realised I don't really have one. The only one I have is to keep in touch with you. We also have to write a book report on our favourite book in ELA. I think I'm going to write mine about "the Perks of being a Wallflower". It's an absolutely amazing book and gave me a new perspective on things. It's also where I got the idea to write to you.
We have a big black lab named Denver. He is currently laying on my legs and I can no longer feel my feet. I love him to death but ugh. He takes up all the room in the small bed as well but I can't just kick him off. I love animals a lot more than I love most people. They're just a lot kinder and loving. Anyway, do you have any pets? Do you love them a lot? I hope so. Animals deserve all the love. Well I kinda went off on a tangent but I should really get back to how things are going.
It is currently snowing and I'm really hoping for a snow day tomorrow. I also go informed that I have been accepted into the district band which is a really big thing. I'm super excited about it even though it is going to be a lot of work. I should really get to bed now as I need to get some sleep in case it isn't a snow day tomorrow. I hope we speak again soon.
