Kinsley, a fifteen year old girl, loses her mom due to a drunk driver. Her dad goes crazy. He loses all hope in humanity. He goes and gets married and leaves her alone. She doesn't know if she should reach out to him or not. She's worried that he won't love her anymore. She texts her best friend, Kyle, what's going on. He has graduated high school, and is studying to become oncologist. He tells her it's going to be alright and that she could come stay with him and his family till she figures this out.
