"Hey, Taylor! How are you?" asked Kinsley.
"Hello! I'm so so happy, you?"
"I'm ok..."
"Kinsley, what's the matter? You seem down."
"I---I---I um lost my mom the other night. We were hit by a drunk driver, and she didn't make it." She said as she almost started to cry.
Taylor looked at her with a heavyhearted face. She hugged her just as school started. Just as she hugged her, Kinsley broke down crying.
"Kinsley, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
"Mr. Alvarez, Kinsley's mom was killed the other night."
"Kinsley, is this true? If it is, you can go home."
Kinsley nodded, she grabbed her bag and left the building. She texted Kyle to me get her. Her asked why. She told him that she broke down, and the teacher told her to go home. He felt bad. He picked her up, and got her ice cream from Oberweis, her favorite ice cream place. They went home, he took her to her room, as he left, she broke down, and cried for hours. He came back after work and school, hugged her tightly for awhile, and told her he was moving out of his moms house soon. He told her she could go with him, and they wouldn't have to deal with them. Kinsley asked about what his brother would think since they were dating. He looked at her disappointedly, and walked away. She cried herself to sleep that night. Morning came, and she called in to the school, and called off for three weeks. Taylor called her that night, and asked is her and some girls could come over. Kinsley declined. She was too depressed to have friends over, which was rare, she loved her friends. Kinsley went downstairs to the kitchen to get some food, where her boyfriends was. He was a very abusive man. He hit her, and used words that weren't kind. Kyle protected her as much as he could, but it was getting hard to handle. A few days later, Kinsley found out that her boyfriend was shot and killed. She wasn't sad, she was more relieved. She told Kyle, that she was free to move in with him. He was surprised. He got all happy. Kyle asked her out on a date a few days later, and she accepted. :)
