Dustin POV
I had a meeting with the bloodline pack for a peace treaty with them. I had just got done with the meeting it went quite smoothly. I decided to go for a run in the woods. Jackson my wolf was so excited to finally go for a run in a week.
As jackson and i was running we smelt an amazing smell. It smelt like roses and vanilla. So we decided to go towards the smell. What we saw was not something we were expecting. We saw this adorable black pup.

When i saw her it seemed like everything stopped even time itself. Right then i knew she was my mate. She looked towards us and trys to hide behind a tree. I walk towards her and lean down so that she knew we weren't going to cause her any harm. She seemed to be ok with my action causing jackson to become happy and she came forward.
She continued to slowly come closer. When she came to a stop she was in front of me nuzzling at my chest.
After that i changed back into my human form and put on some clothes that were behind the trees. Then i picked her up and began petting her. Ten minutes later i her a man screaming ROSE ELAINE BLACK!! Right then and there she started shaking and whining really bad. I felt the need to get her away from here. The man came through the trees.
"There you are you little bitch let go" her father says. But i wouldnt let her go. "I wont let you touch her" i demanded in my alpha tone. "Fine if you want the bitch take her i could care less about her" he says as he storms off.
"Its ok little princess I will protect you, I promise" i say to her softly. She nuzzles her head into my chest and I decided that it was time to go home.
