Bumblebee's frame collides with the cold, hard, ground.
Smokescreen gasps, his spark feeling crushed, processor quickly processing the situation.
Starscream, still smiling, laughed evily, obviously proud of his deed.
"Please don't go offline please don't go offline..." Smokescreen repeated pleadingly in his mind as he felt his optics start to fill with tears.
For a moment, the scout just lays there, scarily limp. Then, miraculously, the wounded scout gets back up, using his servos and the walls as his support.
It was clear that Starscream's blaster had shot below where the shot was supposed to land, inches away from Bumblebee's spark.
The scout charges toward Starscream, filled with rage. It almost seemed as if the hit had no affect on him, but it did, and it had alot. Energon continued to leak out of the scout's body, but he refused to fall, not until Smokescreen was out, then him, and both would get back to base in one whole cybertronian piece.
"S-Smokescreen! Go! I'll be right behind you!"
Smokescreen nods to the command, shoots a few at Starscream and the cons, then sprints out.
"Th-thanks,"
As Smokescreen ran out, a 'con that went by the name, 'Soundwave', slashes at him. Smokescreen crashes to the ground.
A huge scratch was now visible on Smoke's right shoulder pad and tank.
He gets up quickly, and manages to escape Soundwave by roundhousing him in the helm while he was seemingly distracted for a just a mere second by the fight going on between a particular seeker and scout. However, it was enough time for Smokescreen to surprise attack him.
: Base, come in! I repeat, come in base! Does anyone copy? Bumblebee and I are in critical conditions, we require backup! :
-Static fills the communication link-
"For Prime's sake, just answer when we need you most!" Smokescreen shouted in frustration.
"How did you find us?" Bumblebee speaks through his grunts and struggles.
He recieves a mishevious grin from the decepticon. "You, bug, are going to PERISH! HAH! Looks as if you won't be able to reach your beloved medic in time!"
Bumblebee only growls in response, for he knew that when there's a taunt, there's a trap.
After a while of holding off Starscream, Bumblebee knocks him out with a shot to the peds, a kick to the chassis, and final blow to Starscream's faceplate.
He ran to his other fighting comrade, who too, was continuously leaking energon.
They fought alongside eachother until the remaining vehicons were ordered to retreat for some unknown reason.
But that wasn't the problem right now. Right now, they should focus on getting back to base for immediate treatment as soon as possible.
They both got far, far away from where the previous scenorio had taken place a few moments ago.
Once Bumblebee knew this, once he knew there were far enough from where it had all just taken place in a sparkbeat, he collapses, not unconscious - yet -, but extremely weak.
The energon continues to flow out of both two friends. The rookie of the two fell to his knees, next to a swatted Bee, one of the bots he really cared about, was going to vanish, but so would he.
"Scrap." Both mechs curse simultaneously.
Tears sprang to Smokes optics once again. They rolled down his face plate, he cried for both himself and Bee.
When all seemed hopeless, Smokescreen started to hear static
From his audials. Could it be?:: Smokescreen, Bumblebee, report stat! Are you two alright, what has happened? ::
It was!
Once again, tears sprang to Smokescreen's optics. Only this time, they were tears of joy.
"S-s-s-smok-ke - Scr-reen..?"
The injured scout struggles to say."I-it's okay Bee, help is on the way!
We'll be okay! J-just hang in there!" Smokescreen reassures as he contacted the base back and explains their situation.Their world starts to slowly faden as time passes...
