I2: Anniversary

Kristen POV
I woke up with a smile on my face. Today is Ray & I's 4 year anniversary. I shook him lightly trying to wake him up.

"Ray? Ray get up."

"I am up beautiful" he said kissing my lips.

"Happy Anniversary."

When I said those words, his face DROPPED. He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He then tried again.

"Ha-Happy Anniversary Baby." he said.

I got up and rolled my eyes where he couldnt see, and started walking towards to the kitchen. I texted my bestfriend.

Kristen💖: gurl, this nigga forgot our anniversary.

I put my phone on the counter and starting making pancakes and sausages. Halfway done, she texted back.

Minnie😛: Gurl! I know you f🙊 lying! Smh.

Kristen💖: Right! Ugh!

I put my phone down and called for Ray to come eat. He came downstairs and wrapped his arms around my waist. I moved him and sat down to eat. He stood, looking at me.

Ray POV
Truth is, I did NOT forget about our anniversary. I had a plan, to suprise her later. My baby know she is my everything. I wouldn't forget the day I met the Love of My Life. Im not that stupid.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"....."

"Babe."

"....."

I fixed my plate, and ate in the living room. I sat there, texting Minnie. She was apart of my plan.

2wice😎: Aye, the plan is working?

Minnie🤗: Yup.

2wice😎: Alright. Cool.

We stopped texting and I went upstairs.

Kristen POV
I got out the shower and wrapped a towl around me. I walked out of the bathroom, and saw Ray standing at the door.

"What?" I scoffed.

"Baby, talk to me. What's wrong?"

"You forgot about our anniversary!"

"No I didn't ba--"

"Ughh.. Leave me alone."

I walked into the closet and picked out an outfit. I picked out a black fitting catsuit and black wedges. I let my hair down, sat, and curled it. Ray stood behind me, watching me put my jewelry on.

Ray POV
Damn she looks beautiful. She had a mean mug on her face and she knows I love that shit.

"Baby. I did not. forget."

"Okay Ray. Me and Minnie are going out. See ya later."

She plainly said and walked out. The plan is working perfectly.

8 PM
Minnie POV
Ray has been texting me nonestop all day, asking where are we like every hour. I was now dropping Kristen back off at home. I drove home and texted and told Ray. "She is home."

Kristen POV
I am a little sad that Ray and I did not spend time together all day. Well, he forgot our anniversary so why waste time? I unlocked the door and walked inside..I couldn't believe my eyes. There were rose petals everywhere, and candles lit. There was a note on our coffee table beside some clothes and the keys to our Mercedez.

The Note Read:
Hey Baby. I told you I did not forget about today. I was sad I did not see you all day, but I promise to make up for it. Slip these clothes on and drive to the beach. See you there beautiful.

I giggled at the last part. "Yes, yes you are my man." I said in my head. I freshened up, put the clothes on, blew the candles out, and drove to the beach.

9 PM
When I arrived at the beach, I walked down to the water. I saw Ray standing there with a romantic setting around him. There was music, candles in the sand, and the moon? sat perfectly on the water. I walked up to Ray, smiling/crying.

"Baby, what's all this?"

"Today has always been special. Happy Anniversary baby. Ive been planning this with Minnie for about 2 months now. Baby, I love you with everything in me. I can not live without you. I cant forget today. Are you serious? No way. But baby? I wanted to do this for you. You're special to me...and my heart is yours. *gets on one knee, pulls out and opens a box revealing a beautiful diamond ring* Will you, Kristen Lauren Smith, be my wife?"

I.can.not.believe.this! I sat there and cried like a baby.

"Y-ye-YES! YES!" I screamed, jumping up and down. He placed the ring on my finger an kissed me long and passionately.

"I love you. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Ray." I kissed him again, and we put our foreheads together.

Awww, I like this. Its cute to me. This story makes me think of how my boyfriend is going to propose to me. 🤔 Hmmm...but anyway this is the romance im thinking about maybe making the sex imagine off of this, but idk maybe. L A T E R ❤️
