As I was sitting in front of my vanity calmly brushing my hair, I heard the door downstairs open and close. A smile stretched across my lips, I immediately knew who it was. I heard Henry greet them, he had been so happy lately and it warmed my heart to know he was finally content. "Well if it isn't the most gorgeous woman in Storybrooke." A voice said as they stood in my doorway. I smirked and glanced at them in the mirror, "Why thank you dear, I do try." They walked over smiling, "That, I can believe. And how's the love of my life?" I felt their arms wrap around me, I turned around and gave a quick kiss, "I'm fine. How's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with?" They rested their chin on my head, I just smiled as I looked at them, "Yes you are fine. I'm okay, had a hard day at work. You wouldn't believe the idiots I've had to deal with today." I kissed their hand and stood up, wrapping my arms around them, "Aw. Why don't I do something to make you feel better?" I gently placed another kiss on their lips before we found ourselves passionately kissing. I smiled through the kiss and pulled back a little, "I actually meant make you some dinner." We both laughed as we walked downstairs. "Mom?" Henry called out, we both turned around, "Yes?" We said simultaneously. Henry giggled, "I guess I should've specifically said which one of you I was talking to." She smirked, "Guess so. What's up kiddo?" I walked over to him and ruffled his hair, "I was wondering if we could have lasagna for dinner." I smiled and looked her only to see her face light up, she loved my lasagna but I wouldn't make it more than once a month. "That's an awesome idea. Pleeeaase babe?" She and Henry pleaded with puppy dog eyes, I rolled my eyes, smirking. "Okay, only because I know you two have had a rough day." They cheered and high fived each other, I shook my head and went into the kitchen and started cooking. After putting it in the oven, I felt a hand wrap around my waist, "How may I help you?" I said softly, turning around to meet her beautiful green eyes and sweet, soft smile. She leaned her forehead into mine, gently kissing my nose, "Don't start something you can't finish." I laughed as I placed my index finger on her lips as she tried to give me a kiss. She sighed playfully, "Later then." I nodded, "But of course." I watched her walk back in the living room, I loved watching her walk away, I could still taste the cinnamon from her lips, I'd begun to love the taste of cinnamon now. We were together almost two years before we got married and now we had been married a year, we loved each other now more than ever. We talked about having a baby but we decided to wait one more year. "Dinner's ready!" I called out to them as I sat the dish on the table. "Smells wonderful honey." She said as she sat down and got herself a piece. I served Henry his before grabbed a piece for myself. All smiles at the table as we enjoyed our dinner as a family, Emma winked at me and I blushed, "Eat your food silly." She smirked and continued eating. After dinner, Henry offered to clean up before going to bed. We sat on the couch in front of the fire, watching tv. "I love you Regina Swan-Mills." She said as she kissed me, "I love you too Emma Swan-Mills." I had let her continue kissing me, "God, I love the sound of that." She said through the kiss. She rested her head on my shoulder, I wrapped my arm around her shoulder, I loved when she was wrapped in my embrace. "It does have a beautiful ring to it." I softly said. Sweet evenings like this with my wife made my heart skip a beat.
