I did start a new story called Cure but I am eager to complete this story because I actually enjoy writing it. I am so happy that I've come this far with my story. Thank you so much for all the reads and votes. Writing is actually my dream and knowing that people enjoy what I write inspires me to write more and carry on.

Happy New year not everyone anni hope it has been a great year for you. Also merry late Christmas, tell me what you got in the comments!!

I have also skipped more time in this chapter but not much, just so that it stays interesting.

I am now writing in present tense because I keep doing it by accident 😂

Please read, comment, vote and enjoy!

I hate hospitals. I always have. They bring back bad memories. Memories of my dad. Memories of the terrible life I had before this. Memories which seem more like nightmares.

I am currently sitting on a crimson chair in the waiting room. Jason is sitting beside me with a distressed look on his face. I stare at him and he catches me. He looks at me and tries to force a smile. I look down and start to fiddle with my fingers, only praying that he doesn't try to speak to me.

"My fiancee." I reply timidly.
We sit down and she begins to type on her computer.
"Have you been taking things easy like we advised you to?" She asks.
"Yes." I reply.
"That's good, congratulations on the engagement by the way." She adds, smiling.
"Thanks." I force a smile.
"Well let's see your baby then!" She says happily.
I am anything but happy right now.

The gel she puts on my stomach is warm and soothing. On the screen pops up grey area, I frown as I see nothing.

"It'll take a while for the baby to show up," She re-assures me, seeing my worry.
After afew minutes, I see a small, round head on the screen. My heart sinks and a wave of relief and happiness flows through my body.
"Would you like to know the gender?" She asks.
"Yes please!" I say, beaming.

"Congradulations Miss Pierce. It's a..
