(2 days later)
"Tris, Tris, they're unplugging him!" I spring out of bed and run, angry with the knowledge that they said he had 2 more days.
When I get there, I yell, "YOU SAID HE HAD 2 MORE DAYS!!!!"
Christina comes up behind me, "Tris, that was 2 days ago... You've been crying so much you fell asleep for 2 days......." I shake my head, and walk over to Tobias.
"I.....love.......you" I say between sobs. I feel a light squeeze of my hand.
The doctors are freaking out.
"Move, please, he's waking. Everyone is rushing about, and in the chaos I slip out of the room and watch through the window. 20 minutes later, a young woman comes and asks me if I am Tris. I nod.
"He's asking for you." I run in and he's laying on the bed as if nothing has happened.
"Tobias!' I yell and fling myself over him. I am crying of joy, so happy that's he's alive.
"I heard everything, Tris. I love you too." I look up at him and smile through my tears.
