Running with the Wolves

Chapter 3

Scott's pov

   We had all finally arrived at my house and rushed in. I saw Derek and Braden talking but turn and look at me when I we came in then I see a young girl behind them sitting on the couch. She immediately ran behind Derek for protection but calmed down when Derek told her " it's okay, they won't hurt you, this pack protects everyone." He was right, we do protect people no matter how much we get hurt or even if we lose someone along the way and we have, we never stopped fighting and protecting everyone in the town. Now we have to protect this little girl from the calaveras. " Which one of you is the true alpha " she asked coming out from behind Derek. " I am " I say stepping closer to her. She comes up to me and hugs me very tight like she would be taken again if she let go. " What's your name " I ask her as she releases her grip around my waist. " Emilia " she says looking at the ground then up at me " take me back to my pack please, I want my pack, I want my brother " she said with tears forming in her eyes. " Okay we will take you back to your pack but do you know where they are " said Liam  rubbing her back trying to calm her down. " They all ran after those hunters came and attacked so they could be anywhere now " she said as a tear rolls down her cheek. Liam wraps his arms around her hugging her and she does the same. She pulled away and looked at all of us " are you all wolfbloods too " she asked. We we're all a little confused of what the hell a wolfblood is so I look at Derek but he just shrugged his shoulders. " Um actually some of these guys are werewolves and a bunch of other stuff but may I ask what the heck a wolfblood is " said Stiles. She looked at us as if we were crazy " a wolfblood is someone born a wolf, everyone sees us as werewolves but we aren't monsters so we hate being called werewolves."  " Did she just call us monsters " said Liam a little shocked by her words. " 6es but maybe werewolves aren't monsters because you guys don't look like monsters " she said looking at all of us. " There's humans in here so who are they " she asks catching a scent. Braden, Mason, and Stiles raise their hands. " So the rest of you are all werewolves " she asks. " Well no, Lydia is a banshee, Malia is a coyote, and Corey well I'm not sure and Scott is a true alpha but everyone else is a werewolf except for me, Mason, and Braden " said Stiles sounding a little confused of everything he was saying. It was silent for a few seconds until my phone went off. I saw Argent was calling me.

S- Hey what happened

A- get to the woods now, the calaveras are tracking down a pack who are looking for the girl.

S- okay we're on our way just make sure that they don't get to them before we do

A- okay

He ends the call and I see Emilia with a worried look on her face. " Argent said there is a pack looking for Emilia but the calaveras are going after them so we got to find them first. Liam, Malia, and Derek, come with me and the rest stay here and protect Emilia in case the Calaveras get any ideas. They all nod and I walk out the door with Liam, Malia, and Derek behind me. We finally get to the woods and here growls.
