"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I hear her say from the window seat. I look out the window and see tall buildings. Beautiful buildings. A beautiful and bright sky. It's simply wonderful.

"It's amazing." I respond. I smile at my fourteen year old sister.

"Is Uncle David picking us up?"

"I believe so. Or that's what he said." I say, scrolling through our previous messages from the night before. Before we confuse you, no, I am 100% not related to David Rossi. He is simply a very close family friend.

"Attention, we are now landing in Virginia. I hope everyone enjoyed there flight. Buckle up and sit tight. Thank you for flying with us."

"David." I mutter, hugging him.

"The lovely Arden Parker. And the beautiful Annabelle Parker. Let's go shall we?" Anna and I take our luggage in hand as we follow David to his car. Upon arrival, the trunk is opened from a button on his keys.

We pile our bags inside and then head off.

"You'll start work tomorrow, if that's okay. I want you to get settled in before we pile you with work." David chuckles.

"Oh okay, that's fine. Gives me time to get Anna enrolled in school."

"You know, freshman year is truly a crime." The school that was recommended for her to go to, was already half way into the first semester.

"Oh, you'll be fine. Atleast you didn't have to move schools when you were a Senior."

"We get it Arden, you win. Like always." She rolls her eyes playfully. We had this thing where we tried our best to one up each other.

"Here we are." David announces. "Do you need any help?"

"No, I'm sure we'll be fine. Thank you again for letting us stay with you until I can find a place."

"Oh, please. It's no trouble. There's a key under the doormat. I'll have one made this afternoon for you."

"Thank you. Have a good day at work."

He then fled the driveway, leaving Annabelle and I are on our own.

I found the key and opened the door. He had a really nice place.

"Alright, go find your room, get settled, take a nap whatever you need to do. Then we'll go enroll you, alright? So you can start tomorrow." She groans and goes off to find her room.

That next morning, I had got up at 6.15 to get Anna up. Once that was finished, I left her to fend for herself.

I quickly took a shower, not washing my hair since I had one last night, then getting out as soon as I was finished.

After that, I got dressed in a pair of black jeans and a grey jumper. I threw my hair into a messy bun, not caring that much. Then I put on little makeup, only foundation and mascara. Finally, I had my shoes on and went to the kitchen. It was 7.30 by the time I was done.

"Alright, bye." Anna says.

"Okay, see you later tonight. Have a good day. Remember, it's Parker." I remind her.

"I know. It's not like it changed again." Then she was out the door.

"Ready?" David asks me and I nod.

We get in the car and not even 10-20 minutes later we arrive at the BAU.

We walk into the huge building and get on the elevator, making it to the seventh floor.

"Hotch's office is right over there." David says as he heads to his own.

"Oh, okay. Thanks." I head up there, feeling everyone's gaze on me.

Anyways, I knock on his door and he tells me to come in.

"Miss Arden Samue- Parker. My apologies. Aaron Hotchner." We shake hands quickly.

"It's okay." I smile. I hand him my papers and he looks them over.

"Perfect. I think you'll do good here, Parker. Any questions?"

"I don't think so."

"Your desk is the empty one, and-"

"Hotch, we have a new case. It's urgent." A blonde lady pops her head in.

"Okay, we'll be in there in a minute." She nods and smiles my way. I return the gesture.

"Let's go shall we?"

"Yeah." I mumble. I follow him and we enter a room. Everyone sitting around a round table.

"Everyone, this is Arden Parker. Parker, this is Jennifer Jerau, Dr. Spencer Reid, Emily Prentiss, and Derek Morgan." He doesn't mention Rossi, as I already know him.

"Call me JJ." Jennifer comments and I nod.

"I'm here, I'm here." A voice booms from behind me.

"This is Penelope Garcia, our Technical Analyst."

"Arden Parker, nice to meet you."

"You as well. Oh this is going to be so much fun-"

"The case, Garcia." JJ laughs.

"Oh right." She hands out the files.

I'll do just fine here. Just fine.
