They footsteps were approaching me quickly. I only had 5 bullets left in the clip and another full one. I started to run down the hallway, towards the footsteps. They rounded the corner. "There he is! Get him!" I ran to an empty room and hid behind what seemed to be a teacher's desk. The Red Alert alarm was blaring. My head was pounding. The men were right outside the door, working out a plan. 3 entered, guns blazing. I ducked my head between my legs. I waited until the shots were fired. I heard them reloading. Now is my chance. I hopped out from cover and started firing with precise aim. After a few seconds they were on the floor. Blood oozing from their wounds. I checked myself to make sure I wasn't bleeding anywhere. My arm was bleeding but luckily it was only skimmed, leaving a gash in my arm. "Phil, Tony? You there?" I forgot about the rest. They ran in, guns pointed at me. "Put the gun down. Nobody will get hurt." I dropped the gun and put my hands above my head. They came close and I headbutted him in the face. Adrenaline kicked in and time slowed down. I reached for his gun. Time started to speed up. I caught the gun and fired a couple rounds into each of them until the clip was empty. I dropped the gun. I left the room and headed down the hall the men came from. There was an exit door. I walked through the door. Free at last.
