I pick up my bag, leave the classroom, and enter the long, crowded hallway. To the left, there is a group that looks like one I'd join; they're all holding either a pencil case with a few paint brushes, or a canvas. But they don't seem to look like freshmens. Ooh! Something just clicked! No one is calling me 'Hearse Girl' exept for a few immature boys! YESS!! Oh, and to the right, is a few students grabbing things from their lockers.
As I walk past the 'Art Group', and through the hallway, a girl runs up to me, and asks me who I was.
"I'm Claudia. Why?" I reply.
"Well, because I wanted to tell you that you're going the wrong way," she says.
"Ugghh, what are you talking about?" I ask.
"Well, every freshman has either Maths, or English for their first lesson. Did you not pay attention to what Mrs White told the freshmens?" She said.
I am pretty sure she didn't say a word.
"Ugghh, sure I did! Hehe..." I lied.
"Don't worry, I didn't pay attention on my first day either. Here, I'm Adelaide." Adelaide said with a laugh.
"Okay? So where's Maths?" I asked.
"Oh, just down back that way. Turn left, and it should be on your right." She conducted as she pointed her finger.
"Okay, thanks! Catch you 'round!" I yelled out as I ran to my first class.◇◇◇◇◇◇◇
As I walk in, I am greeted with the teacher yelling at me.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?! YOU THINK YOU CAN COME INTO MY CLASS LATE?" He yells at the top of his lungs.Instantly, my cheeks are on fire. I quickly sit down in my seat, and stare at the teacher.
"So, miss, what is your name?" The teacher then asks.
"Oh, um, Claudia Winstor," I stutter.
The colour of his is face turns completely white.
"Did you say 'Winstor'?" The maths teacher whispers so faintly, that I almost can't hear.
"Yes. I. Did." I say.
"Okay, Well don't arrive late next time."The teacher moves to his desk, and written on the board is his name (which, by the way, is Mr Tishler), and the date. Mr Tishler grabbed a wad of papers, and walked out to the front of the class.
"Right, class, today you are doing a test. Yes, I know, it is the start of the year, but I need to know how much you already know. The test has questions on things that you should already know, and more." He says with no enthusiasm. He then goes around the classroom giving out a few papers thst have been stapled at the top left side. On each paper, there are different questions.
