Isabella and Gabriella are sisters whose parents had a divorce when Isabella was 9 and Gabriella was 11. After their parents divorced, they lived with their dad. Their father, Jacob, was a 42-year-old detective who was mysteriously murdered a month ago. Isabella and Gabriella hadn't met their mom for 6 years and their relatives weren't close to them either. None of the relatives would adopt them, their dad's work partner, Jimmy adopted them. He lived alone with his pet dog.

After Jacob's death, Jimmy together with a police officer are solving the case about the death of Jacob. They had one main suspect, David, Jacob's ex-brother-in-law who didn't like Jacob. David thought that Jacob harassed his sister which made them have a divorce. David was the person most likely to kill Jacob. He also had a bad record and had been imprisoned a few times.

The officers decided to put David on trial until they find concrete evidence. Jimmy and the police officer had worked a whole month trying to find evidence to prove David was guilty - but they found nothing.

While Jimmy and the officer were solving the case, the two girls, Isabella and Gabriella, had their own investigation with Jimmy's pet, a German shepherd named Bruno. They used the dog to sniff their father's dead body. The dead body was placed in a morgue in Queen's Town hospital. The doctors knew Isabella and Gabriella so they let them inside the room with the body. Isabella wasn't allowed to see her dad as she was very sensitive and would easily cry. Whereas, Gabriella was a young, brave woman.

After the dog had sniffed the body properly, he started barking around the room Then, he ran out of the hospital onto the streets while the girls were trying to catch up. They ran through several blocks until Bruno stopped outside a familiar house. "Hey! isn't this Jimmy's old house?" asked Isabella.

"Yeah, why did Bruno bring us here? Jimmy had like abandoned it a year ago no one ever came here," Gabriella replied" The officer said that Jimmy's dog was the best at solving crime and had never failed."

"Maybe we should go inside and check. There is no harm in doing that" Isabella added. The girls and Bruno went inside.

The place was bigger than Jimmy's house right now. The house consisted of 2 floors. Isabella and Bruno checked the 2nd floor so Gabriella check the 1st floor. The house was completely empty except for some permanently attached cupboards. They were all empty. Later, Gabriella heard Isabella shout "Sis there's a door to an attic. I'm going inside with Bruno." Gabriella went upstairs. The room was made entirely of wood including the floor. "There's a lot of things here. Jimmy probably forgot about all this stuff," Gabriella stated.

"Yeah, you don't think he is like hiding all this stuff here," Isabella doubted.

" Lets check it out, it could be like an investigation like dad did," Gabriella exclaimed. Isabella didn't say anything as she remembered the tragic death of her dad. She tried very hard not to cry and tried covering her face with her thick, straight and dark brown hair. Gabriella realized her mistake of mentioning death of thwir dad, then changed the topic. "Hey! Look at this album, it has pictures of dad and Jimmy." Isabella took the album and found a note. "Sis look, it's a letter or something." Isabella said.

"Do you see that?" Gabriella gasped "The letter has been written to Jimmy from dad. That's his handwriting."

" It says he was sorry for something he did," Isabella pointed out " This letter was written the day before dad's death."

"Jimmy moved a year ago, why would he keep this letter here?" Gabriella questioned.

The girls knew Jimmy was up to something. The girls also thought why would Jimmy help in their dad's case if he killed him. The girls kept searching for more clues. Bruno started running around the attic and dropped a diary. Gabriella noticed it and picked it up. "I found Jimmy's diary!" exclaimed Gabriella

"Isabella, I think we should go home. Jimmy's gonna come home anytime. Take this diary and leave, we can read it at home."

The girls left Jimmy's old house Jimmy's new was only a few blocks away. The three of them ran so they could reach before Jimmy did. They couldn't believe he would do such a crime. They didn't want to accuse him then find that he was innocent so Gabriella decided that they won't say anything until they read the diary. When they reached home there was a note on the doorstep reading:

"THERE IS A TREASURE HUNT IN THE HOUSE"

The girls got very excited. They had a very tiring day. Jimmy's treasure hunt would surely help them forget about their horrible day. They realized maybe Jimmy wasn't the culprit of their father's death. They followed all the clues. The clues were very easy. They had been to every room except their own. "Yay! We will get a prize in our room" Isabella cheered. In their room, Jimmy was sitting on their bed. He was holding a knife...
