"Gyawwwwh!" I yawned, stretching my arms as I lifted my head out of my pillow, "Mornin' already?" I ran down the stairs excited, "Mum, dad, Max? Are you all home? Gughh!" I sighed, "Must already be at work...And Max...Where is Max actually?"
I looked around the house, Max wasn't home, neither mum or dad. Alone again, on my first day of school, my brother and parents couldn't even stay to say goodbye and good luck. That's when I saw a little sticky note stuck to the kitchen counter by the toaster.
"Dear Maple," I read, "Good luck at your first day of school! We hope you enjoy it so, so much! We're terribly sorry we couldn't be home for you, but the bakery had a rush problem this morning. Let's just say...Our customers were not happy. If you want to come visit us after school, we'd love that.
Love,
-Mum and Dad." I finished.

"Well that explains it...But Max-" I turned it over, "Hey sis, I'm at college right now. Couldn't be here for ya, but I baked you a nice, chocolate cake! Hope ya enjoy it! Bye!" There was a large scribble where Max had rushed, so they bye kinda looked like a deformed leg. He's an artist, level 7, and a cook, level 5, in college.

He's had messy handwriting, but a beautiful sense of drawing style. We all kinda feel sorry for Max 'cause he's had a rough life. He went to an all boys school when he was 11, he got beat up a lot so he went to my primary school instead. Our primary school was private, it was called 'Gesmond Private Primary' there was a 'Gesmond Public Primary' close by, and my brother ended up going there by accident on the first day, then on the second day he replied there were two Gesmond schools and well...MIND EXPLODED!

He was pretty dumb for an 11 year old. I was only 7 and I knew which was which, actually when I was 8 I was walking to school on my own, I was teaching Max the difference between both schools and the way and he was in  Secondary school at this time!

Jeez, I was kinda scared he would never learn, but by 14 he was bragging how he was able to do thing right. I only knew because he would brag at home and mum would be like, "Well done Maximus, you have learned so much. We're proud!" And dad would say, "YAAAA!" Dad was...Weird. Very weird. He acted like a kid at times, but we lived him.
