✨ Chapter 14 ✨

Jayden's POV

"Come on Jayden , let's go " she said
"I'm coming , I'll meet you outside"
We were now leaving the condo and I was sad. I wish it was ours. We should make that happen one day. The only reason we were leaving so early was because Kahlani wasnt feeling well since a little after we ate breakfast. She kept complaining of her stomach hurting and she had a bad headache. That meant her period was coming so I should prepare for the storm that's about to come later on. We got in the car and drove off in the direction of home.
"Can we please stop at the store for ginger ale and my favorite ice cream?" She said
"Sure baby. You want to get it now or closer to the house ?"
"Closer to the house" she said
The drive would take about a hour so I still picked up a little ginger ale to keep her until we got back to our sides. When pulled up a gas station and I went inside the store to get the ginger ale. I came back to give it to Kahlani and she was throwing up outside with the car door open. I ran back inside the store and got some paper towel and a bottle of water. I hurried to her and picked her head up. I wiped her mouth and gave her the water to gargle the rest of the vomit out. She did that and sat back in her seat. I decided to go back in the store and get plastic bags just in case she had to throw up again. I went to the back of the car and got a blanket that I always kept in the truck. I took it out and laid it on the back seat. I went to her side of the car and picked her up and laid her in the back seat. I put the plastic bags open on the floor and next to it I put the ginger ale. I went back to the drivers side and hurried home. I knew she didn't want any I've cream after that but I still picked it up anyway. I also picked up some Motrin to help her stomach. 10 minutes after I stopped in the store we were home. I grabbed the bags then put them inside. I went to get Kahlani and she was sleeping so I just picked her up and took her inside. I laid her on the couch and put a pillow under her head. I turn on the music channel and turned the volume low. That's how she loved to sleep when she was alone. Weirdo. I went to the kitchen and made her some hot tea. I placed it on the table in front of her and sat at the end of the couch and put her legs on me. I couldn't leave her alone. I sat back and just went on my phone a little then drifted asleep joining her.

*stomps up the stairs*
I woke up from loud noise in the bathroom upstairs. When I got up and looked up and saw Kahlani at the top of the stairs about to come back down looking sick as ever. I stopped her and picked her up.
"We need to go to the hospital. This is not just a stomach ache. "
She nodded and I walked down the stairs,opened the door and laid her in the back seat. I went back grabbed my phone and keys and left. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the hospital. I parked and picked her up to head inside the emergency room.
"Hi , my name is Jayden and my wife keeps throwing up constantly and she has a terrible headache."
"Okay bring her this way" the doctor said
I placed her on a stretcher and they wheeled her into a room. I followed. The nurse handed me a paper to fill out about Kahlani's information. I quickly filled it out and gave it in.
"Okay were just going to run a couple of test to make sure it's not something fatal." The nurse said aloud for both of us to hear. They took blood and checked her heart, stomach and head. They left 25 minutes later. We were alone and she look like she was in so much pain. She looked over to me in my eyes.
"Thank you baby" she said
"For what ?"
"Taking care of me " she said
"Stop thanking me. You're my wife. I'm supposed to always look out for you. Through sickness and in health."
" I love you " she said
"I love you forever"
She pulled my hand and held it in hers. We just sat there patiently waiting for the test results.
30 minutes later the doctor came back.
"Mr and Mrs Williams I'm back with your results. I have some good news " the nurse said
"Yes we are ready to find out what's wrong with me" she said
" so the reason for all this pain and throwing up is because you're pregnant "
We looked at each other with joy. I mean we weren't shocked because hey we always have bomb sex so.
"Oh my god really !" Kahlani said
"Yes you are " the nurse said.
" I'm so happy !" Kahlani said as she pulled me in for a kiss
"You find out the gender in about 14 weeks so just take it easy. You can make another appointment for in the next 5 weeks so that we can check your progress. " the nurse continued
She left the room after that. All we could do was smile because this was great news. I didn't even care what the gender was but the thought of having my own little baby running around made me happy all over again. The nurse came back and got us ready to be discharged so we could go home. We were both hungry, especially Kahlani because of all that vomiting. We decided to stop at red lobsters and take out so we could go home and eat in our warm bed. We ordered and wait for our food. It was ready in 30 minutes and then we were out. We got home took off our clothes but left on our underwear and got in bed. We covered up with the blanket , sat back , ate our food and watched tv for the rest of the night. The start of our own little family.
