I awoke in the morning at my apartment, feeling refreshed and ready to face the challenges of the day. My sweet cat, Jen was asleep on the pillow beside me purring. My dark grey fluffy blanket and white comforter was snuggled up over my face as I peacefully watched Jen sleep.
"I wonder if I could pop in on Batty today at his house. Although that may be awkward."
I thought to myself as I quickly hopped out of bed and walked into my step in shower to cleanse myself."Elaine, why are you acting so weird?" Jen meowed to me while pulling a towel over to the walk in shower after my shower had been taken. "What do you mean?" I say while gently taking the towel from Jen's sharp teeth and wrapping it around my exposed body.
"You have been going to see Batman ALOT. Why? I get that he is attractive and has that Batman voice, but I find it wierd. You are suppose to be a Villain and he is suppose to be a hero." Jen meows as we both step out into the cold balcony of my apartment overlooking Gotham.
"Well, maybe I don't want to be a villain anymore." I say looking down. "MEOW!?!?" Jen meows loudly and jumps up, accidentally falling off the balcony."JEN!" I scream and turn into a cat to save Jen. I let my towel fall to the ground to reveal me as a cat. I quickly dodge and scoop Jen up and quickly climb back up the apartment building.
Finally, we get back up and I retrieve my towel and turn back into myself.
"Well, next time I tell you news like that I am going to have you on level ground." I say turning to go back inside. Jen quickly follows but silently and I can tell she is still shaken by the news.
"Come on, Elaine! Are you thinking straight? Listen, I know you just want to help people and be kind, but you were born to be a Villain!" Jen meows and sits on my bed while I get my cat suit on.
"Elaine," Jen says making me turn my head to her. "Even if your ideas are crazy or out there, I will ALWAYS have your back." Jen meows making me smile a warm smile.
"Thanks Jen, i'm lucky to have such a loyal cat!" I say and pick her up and cuddle her to my chest. Jen purrs happily and I hug her so hard, we can barely breath.
I finally let her out of my snuggly hug, and I put on a black mask while Jen hops onto my shoulder."Ready to go and see if any injustice is in Gotham?" I say looking off into the city of Gotham from my balcony, dramatically. "Ready as i'll ever be!" Jen meows looking down from the balcony too.
"Alright! Let's go!" I say, and with that, I hop off of the balcony and onto another building, then I use my black retriever rope and throw it onto a street lamp. Holding onto the other end of it, I swing threw the air as Jen holds on for life.
I let out a squeal of excitement and energy, and then I swing onto the street lamp, landing on the very top of it. "Where are we going?" Jen asks me. "I don't know! But where ever we are going, we are gonna get there fast!" I say as I jump onto another building and then another.
But in my mind I knew where I was going, to see Harley. But Jen didn't like Harley, so I didn't say..^
