It was a cold stormy night, nobody could see what was in front of them if they stepped outside. It was too cold to do much outside anyway, but I thought there had to be a place with no snow. A place of warmth like many years ago..the history books said there was summer, light, and warmth. Sadly we barely have any of those things. All we have is cold, dark, wintery days.
I thought that there must be one place that still is warm, but nobody knows if there is or not. We can barely even live outside of the wall. The government built a wall to protect us from the horrible weather that came in, but it only helps a little bit. I have never traveled out of the country because of this, nobody has traveled since the year 2021. I want to see the world for myself and I want to find a place with this said warmth, so I can see and feel it for myself and not just read about it in the history books.
Weather stations back around 2017 thought that we'd have global warming, which happened for two years, but eventually stopped a year before I was born. Then the world let something worse than global warming, a new ice age of cold, death, and destruction. People can only go outside when it's -3 degrees out, but it barely gets to that. So on special circumstances the government says we can go out in -25 degree weather.
I have to go outside of the walls, I have to find the warmth, I have to save everyone from this snow.
