hayley's pov
i had saved some money to finally go to New York. My best friend alice was coming with me. i picked her up to go to the airport. "hey girl you ready to go on our big adventure?" she chuckled. "yep maybe you will run into norman." i scoffed. "like that's ever gonna happen. he didnt even replied my letter i send him. i know i said i didnt expect a reaction, but it would have been nice though. at least i would know if he read it." she placed her hand on my shoulder. "hey babe its his loss. lets go and have fun." i smiled back at her. "i'm so with you on this." we drove to the airport and i parked the car on a parkinglot there. we walked to the customs and checked in and all the long crap that goes with it. i hated how much time it always took to get on the fucking plane.
we arrived at NY and i was relieved that we were. we booked a nice hotel there not to expensive and close to shops and supermarket. i wasnt the kind of woman that liked to walk too far. i'm not saying i was lazy but its convenient to have all the things close to eachother. we decided to stay in for the rest of the day because it was already dark when we checked into our hotel. we were walking to our room and it was simple but comfortable. it had an amazing view and a small terrace with 2 chairs and a table. "wow this room is fantastic hayes." i smiled. "ikr, its so peaceful here." we talked about girly stuff until we went to bed.
the next day alice wanted to go to a coffeeshop nearby. i wouldnt say no ofcourse. i needed my dose in the morning. we sat down and suddenly my heart stopped. "you've got to be fucking kidding me right now." alice frowned at me. "what's wrong?" i turned red. "please tell me thats not norman sitting over there." she looked behind her and back to me. "girl this is your chance, go talk to him." i gasped. "hell no, i wouldnt even know what to say. i will get so nervous, that i'm gonna stotter and thats lame." she chuckled. "either you go talk to him or i will call him over." i hated her so much, because i knew she would do that. she was a pusher but i loved that about her. you always knew what you got with her and i respected her for that. she was an amazing single mom and lucky for us another friend wanted to take her kids so we could come on our trip. my daughter stayed with her dad. my ex wasnt in a good mood but that was just because he had to look out for emily. he was a great father but sometimes he could just get under my skin and i needed some quality time for myself for a change. "alice come on please dont do this to me." "go on talk or i will call em." i sighed and stood up and walked over to the counter instead. i saw her eyeing me, but i had an idea. "hey could you do something for me?" i asked the waitress. "could you give that nice man a coffee from me and this piece of paper. it's not something bad its just i dont want to disturb him and this is more appropriate." she smiled at me and nodded. i went back to my seat and waited. "hey i thought you were gonna talk to him." i smiled. "maybe i will in a minute or maybe i wont. lets just wait it out." she frowned at me but nodded.
norman's pov
i had such a shitty morning. my stupid cat woke me up again like always, but i noticed the coffee ran out. i had to come outside where everyone could recognize me and harass me. this girl from across me was watching me. i wanted to go home as fast as i could but not without my daily coffee. i freaked out noticing she getting up and walking towards me, but she passed me and walked to the counter. that was weird since she was eyeing me the whole time. she walked past me again a minute later and sat back down. she smiled at her friend and looked down. the waitress came over with another coffee. "oh daisy i didnt order this." she smiled and handed over a small piece off paper. "i know its from that miss over there. she didnt want to disturb you so she asked me to do it and she seems normal." i nodded and looked at the girl. she got red and smiled at me. i thought it was cute and read the paper. 'hey norman, if you're interested in a talk without getting molested by a fangirl. you are welcome to join our table. if not enjoy your coffee.' i watched her again and she turned more red and i found it so adorable that i thought about it for a second. what was the harm in drinking coffee with 2 pretty girls. i got up, took my cup and walked over to them. "hi is this seat taken?" she bit her lip and fuck that was hot. "no not at all please." and she scooted over for me to sit. "hi i'm hayley and this is alice." "hi well that was unusual for me." she frowned. "what is?" i chuckled. "for a fangirl not to go crazy on me and be so calm." she scoffed. "that's because she made me do it. i wasnt gonna do anything until she was gonna embarass me over the entire shop here. i didnt want to take away your time." the other girl laughed. "that's the first too. a fan that doesnt want to talk to me." she smiled. "i do want some time with you. i'm just gonna end up being clumpsy and stupid because you make me nervous." i smiled. "welcome to the land of the dorks, sweetheart. when it comes to this, i'm socially awkward too." she shook her head. "i'm a social freak, but when it comes to you, its different." i was kinda flattered by that. "I'm a total wimp. Woman cant act normal around me. They scare me lately. I was freakin out when i had to leave the house. Then i saw you looking at me and coming over and i thought you actually were gonna harass me like all of them usually do." I blushed and she smiled. "I'm not like that norman. Everyone deserves some privacy. Why would i do that when i dont like it myself. People should place themselves in your shoes before they approach you." My eyes widened. This woman wasnt who i thought she was at all. Pretty and smart fantastic combination. "so big fan huh. for how long? if you wanna tell me." she huffed. "wow i saw boondock one back in 1999, saw murphy on my tv and i was sold right there. i mean sean was awesome too but there was something about you that made me love you more." she turned bright red. "sorry that was awkward." i frowned. "what do you mean?" "well i said love you more and thats weird." i chuckled. she was being so adorable and i liked her company. i was glad her friend pushed her. "its okay i get it. i freaked out when i met suzanne somers. she said norman did you grow up on me? and i was like you have no idea." she giggled. "yeah my inner radar is going through the roof. lots of woman and girls would wanna be in my shoes right now or even kill me because of it." she was telling the truth and i knew when people would see me with her they would question who she was and take pics. luckally i knew the owner and they knew i wanted some privacy. "dont worry i'm a regular here they know that i like my alone time and they watch out for me. daisy trusted you to let your paper come to me. if she didnt, she wouldnt even agree to do it." i liked to think she was flattered by that. "good because i'm enjoying this and i dont want it to be ruined by crazy people." i laughed so hard that even daisy came over. "anything else you need? it looks like you are gonna be here for a while." she winked and she was right. "you girls want something its on me." they looked at eachother and nodded. "a caramel machiatto for me." hayley said. "an espresso for me please." alice answered. "the usual for me dais." she nodded and went to pass the order. "so have you seen other movies of me or just boondock?" alice scoffed. "really she has seen almost everything you feature in. she hates horror and even those she saw. she sleeps in pj's with your head on her chest and on her ass." hayley's eyes widened. "thanks ali. now he thinks i'm obsessed or a freak." i chuckled. "hey i dont mind being on your chest or ass. good place as any to be on." now that was to foward maybe. "i bought them because the chance i would get to meet you were slim and this way i would have you close too me without actually having to kidnap you." "now thats not weird at all. its kinda awesome you think like that. Most of them would just kidnap me." she sighed. "it would be fantastic to have that time with you, but i'm kind off a down to earth girl and know that you need to know a person first to get that. i always told myself if i do got the luck in meeting you, that i would be respectful like you deserve. yeah you're famous and everyone wants you, but i wanna give you the feeling that its for you and not the hollywood shell." holy shit this one was getting to me.
