Kagami

A/N: This part does not have Haley in it. This way before Haley, it kinda shows the relationship of Masamune, Kojuro and Kagami.

It was a beautiful spring day in Oshu the birds were singing and the wind was whispering though the trees. Until there was a boom, that shattered the peacefulness. Two people about five days apart, they were sparring each other. The male swung his sword at the female and she dodged out of the way. Then she swung her sword and there was a high pitch squeal. He blocked her move, charged at her and then was metal hitting metal.

"COME ON!" Yelled the male, in English.

Standing off to the side was an older male watching the two younger ones fight; he was sighing every now and then. Thinking that the younger male was being childish and the female fighting him off was doing her best to keep him back.

"Masamune-sama." Said the female to the younger male.

"What getting to tough for you Kagami?" Masamune replied to the female who now had a scowl on her face.

"NO!" She snapped back and pushed him away.

"Then what?" He chuckled, slightly taunting her. She growled slightly and swung really hard into Masamune sword which made both of them slide back.

"Someone's upset." He smirked, and reaching for his other swords

"Masamune-sama." Said the older male finally.

Masamune took his eyes off Kagami and stared at the older male who was still standing off to the side of the fight.

"Che," Said Masamune dropping his hands to his sides "I thought I told you not to interfere, Kojuro."

"Yes, but it is wise not to destroy the grounds again, sir."

"And here I thought you were trying to get me from hurting Kagami."

Kojuro blushed a little and looked away; Kagami walked forward a bit and picked up her sheath. She was trying to hold back a blush from coming onto her face. Masamune smiled at both of his retainer's actions, as he put away his sword. "See you two later."

They both watched their lord go inside before looking at each other. Kagami couldn't hold back her blush anymore and it crept up her face. Kojuro smiled and walked forward, he reached out and brushed his fingers against her cheek. "You're cute when you blush." She looked up at Kojuro and smiled a little.

Kagami and Kojuro had fallen in love with each other. Their lord knew, they didn't know how he found out but he was okay about it. The others thought they made a great couple, except they weren't really together. For one Kagami didn't want other lands to know because she would become leverage to bring down the Date Clan. Even if she was Kojuro's girl. He was the right eye and Lord Masamune would become in danger. Like when the Toyotomi's strategist Takenaka Hanbei took Kojuro, Masamune couldn't think straight and made bad moves. Kagami was there to help but she was no Kojuro. Kagami was known as right eye of the dragon's mirror, even though her name translated into mirror it made since, she protected Kojuro and Masamune's back. Kagami was snapped back to reality when Kojuro kissed her lips, she kissed him back. He pulled away after a while to let them both breathe.

"Something on your mind?" asked Kojuro

"No..." she replied smiling up at him. He kissed her again and then said he had to go take care of a few things. She watched him walk away. Once he was out of sight Kagami touched her lips. How was it that she was so desperately in love with him?
