Felix and Cry stood there for minutes, Cry even started crying in Felix's arms. I sat on the coach watching when my phone began buzzing in my pocket. I pulled out the phone and quickly swiped to unlock it. The caller ID read..... Mark!!! I quickly swiped the green call button and placed the phone to my ear.

"Mark thank God, I thought you were dead or something." I let out a sigh of relief but soon took that back as a new voice spoke over Mark's phone.

"Oh, so that's his name." My heart froze. That voice, that voice!

"What have you done with Mark!" I barked into the phone. There was a loud cackle on the other end of the phone, almost like a wicked laugh.

"Oh, he's here. Want to say hi?" He wickedly said into the phone. My heart gained speed and my toes curled. I could feel the gazes of Felix and Cry on my neck, but I didn't bother with them.

"Jack," a whispered voice spoke lowly into the phone. My heart sank, it sounded like Mark. His voice didn't hold the cheerful tone in it like it always did.

"Jack, don't listen to his offer. Stay away, call chief Robert and get hel-" His voice cut off as the phone jerked back into Ed's voice.

"So pet, I have a proposition for you. Bring Cry to me, and in return, I'll give you... Mark? Was it?" My heart skipped another beat, and another. No words could express what was going on in my head.

"What do ya say? It's a fair trade," Ed spoke deeply, almost like a tender sweet voice. I signed, what would he do to Cry? But Mark, I couldn't decide.  If I chose Cry, Mark could die or even worst. But if I chose Mark, Cry could do damage to his new baby.

"Where should we meet?" I asked as shame filled my heart making it swell. My eyes darted to the floor, anguish filled my thoughts as I heard heavy breathing on the other line.

"Meet at the fourth center street, midnight." Then the phone went dead, completely cutting off my reply. I looked at the time on my phone, 10:56. Bastard! Felix and Cry had their eyes on me, but all of could do was drop my phone in my lap and look straight back.

"Was that..." Cry stopped to keep himself from crying. I held back my own tears, looking at Felix.

"I'm so sorry," I whimpered, looking down into my lap. Cry walked over to the couch and sat down next to me, he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and squeezed.

"Ed wants you back, we're meeting him at six," I mumbled, and suddenly the lamp next to me flew across the room. Felix had a look of pure hatred across his face. I could understand why he was so upset that I didn't sound a word but watched as he started cussing and throwing things across the room. I looked to the ground as Cry stood from the coach to try and calm down Felix, to no avail.

"Felix, baby please, breathe." Cry hushed Felix, but with little success. Cry held Felix's hand in his and stroked his arm with his finger, soothing him with touch instead of words. I stared at Felix but couldn't express how sorry I was. He would be losing his pregnant boyfriend. Wait a minute, didn't Mark say to get help? But from who? Come on Jack, think!

"Felix, there has to be some other way to get help. Maybe we can get help from the police." What didn't Mark say to get help from the chief? Chief... Chief... Robert!!! I quickly, but carefully got up from the couch and waddled to the kitchen. I made my way to the refrigerator, looking up at the top a tiny phone number was plastered on the fridge. I reached up to grab it and saddled back to the living area.

I looked at the card, it had Robert IDK written at the top with a phone number written at the bottom. I quickly handed the card to Felix and he looked at me with a questionable look on his face.
