kalani needed to throw a party. as the rich kid of the school she was always the one to throw the best parties with the best dj and alcohol of course, increasing her popularity which was important.
she pulled her phone out from the pockets of her ripped jean shorts and texted brynn to inform her to get started on the guest list, populars only of course.
brynn is her best friend of 9 years. since the 3rd grade after the two bonded on an obsession with monster high dolls, and they've been inseparable since then.

kalani is the rich kid at school, and no shes not insanely cocky but she did have the newest phones and brand clothes.
her father was a co-pilot for the vice president and the world of fashion has caused her mother to create several fashion lines and made her one of the top designers on the u.s.
the wellbrooke house was a large mansion at the end of town that her parents had bought for parties and such and was open for kalani at all times.
a small vibration escaped from her phone signaling that brynn had answered.

kalani let out a small chuckle at her choice of words and proceeded to text her mom.
seeing as kalani was only a senior and 17, she couldn't buy alcohol yet, and she needed her mom to do it for her. along with being filthy rich, her parents were also extremely cool. her parents knew that kids drink alcohol, so rather then them getting it illegally, her mother gets it for her.

hey can i have a party at the wellbrooke house on friday and can u get the drinks? love u
better wait to tell her she had already told brynn the party was on.

sure don't drink to much, uncle hylands coming over on saturday.
kalani loved uncle hyland. well she loved his son. and technically uncle hyland wasn't her uncle just a close family friend, so it was ok for her to be madly in love with his son, josh. he was a student in kalani's school and in her class.
kalani texted a quick reply agreeing to her mothers request and flipped on the tv, where she finally started watching jane the virgin, a re-run but a great episode, and slowly fell asleep
