Zanpakuto Crisis

After the Aizen incident, I became Co-Head Captain as punishment apparently, and I had to do all of Squad 3's, Squad 5's and Squad 9's paperwork, plus a full detail report about what happened between me and Aizen before I "Died". 

'Shiro'.

'What is it, Aki?'

'Can you help me?'

'...... No'.

'Oh~, why not?'

'Because it's your paperwork'.

'But it's your fault I'm doing all of this paperwork. Why did you defy what my letter said?'

'........................ Because I wanted to make sure you went to the seireitei.. And return to me'.

I didn't hear the last part, but it seems he returned to his paperwork again so I didn't bother to ask what he said at the end. I sighed and returned to my 3 bundles of paperwork. I was trying to finish this as fast as possible because I wanted to catch up with Kou and Rin, they missed me a lot so they wanted to hang out with me later today, or tomorrow if I had too much work to do. Luckily for me, I managed to finish all the paperwork in time to go meet Kou and Rin, we were going to meet up at the Pub and catch up with each other with a drink and everything. 

So, right now, I was drinking with Kou and Rin, laughing together as I told them about everything that happened while I was in the world of the living. 

~ Next day ~

'Hello? Jigen Kukan? Talk to me. Why aren't you saying anything? And why aren't you manifesting? Jigen Kukan, answer me!'

After a few more seconds, I gave up and sheathed my zanpakuto. Then went back to Toshiro's captain room, slightly sulking. I walked inside, still having a sulky face on. Toshiro asks 'What's wrong, Aki?'

I said 'My zanpakuto won't talk to me, they won't even answer me, and they never do that'.

Isane said 'You too, Aki', I nod.

Then, toshiro was going to go when Momo pointed out that they had brought snacks over. I giggled at Toshiro's face, he looked so cute but surprisingly, he refused.

Later on today, at like midnight, while i was sleeping, a hell butterfly woke me up and told us that we had an urgent meeting from the Head Captain, weird. I got up and flash-stepped to my destination to see hat everyone else was already there, including my brother, since he is the captain of Squad 14 after all and Kou was here for some reason too. 

'Aki'.

I turned around to see Toshiro and Rangiku. I said 'Hey guys'.

Toshiro asks 'Do you know anything about this meeting?'

I shake my head, I said 'I didn't know about it until I got the call. Why is this fog so thick?'

The fog got thicker as we heard someone coming. We looked over to see Lieutenant Sasakibe, I quickly flash-stepped over and caught him as he fell. I said 'Damn, he's injured badly', Retsu and Isane came over and started checking his condition, and stated healing him too.

Everyone was alert now, getting ready for battle if need be.

'I'm afraid the head captain won't be joining us tonight'.

I looked over to see a red-head. Toshiro asks 'Just who the hell are you?'

Three lieutenants got in front of us, then Sajin was in front of the red-headed guy, asking how does he know that the head captain isn't coming. The guy didn't answer and Sajin resorted to violence. Wind started to blow by us, then Sajin used Bankai but when he attacked, Sajin's zanpakuto tried to attack him. A intense gust of wind started to blow from Sajin's zanpakuto and well, we then saw I suppose, the smaller version of his zanpakuto.Everyone was shocked when Sajin's zanpakuto took Sajin out, this is not a good sign.
