Red. that's all I saw I looked at the walls and in blood it said your next. MOM DAD! I screamed nobody answered. my stomached dropped I ran to Miranda's room luckly she was asleep. "Miranda sweetie wake up" I said shaking her gently. "Mommy"? she asked. I bit my lip to keep from crying. I picked her up and went out the front door. I ran. never looking back. since I was supposed to shift for the first time today I knew I could provide. I knew we were getting close to the boarder. since I was alpha's daughter I could run faster than most. I kept running into the next packs territory. that's when I smelled it. MINE! I heard someone yell. when I looked behind me I froze.
