Meeting in school

" Thana" someone sniffled beside me

I groaned and turned over, taking the bed sheets with me, ignoring the pestering voice disturbing my sleep.

" wake up please" the voice continued, clearly not getting the hint.

I turned back around and opened my eyes slightly and saw Dayna sitting on a chair right next to my bed, worry etched in her face.

Dayna?...

Seeing my eyes were open Dayna flung herself at me her arms wrapped around me tight as she cried in my shoulder. She leaned back and looked at me properly, and asked

" Thana do you remember what happened"

" huh..errrrrr.... We were hit by a truck" I responded, my head started aching me.

" Anything else" she asked her face scrunched up in curiosity

Ohhh yeah. The reaper

" well I had the most weirdest dream ever, I was dead and I met the reaper who told me some weird shit." I laughed at the absurdity of what I dreamed.

Dayna stopped crying and looked at me all curiosity gone and fear was replaced, she took a deep breath

" Thana..... You were dead"

" huh"

" everything what you dreamed was true, It actually happened. And its all my fault I couldn't even collect my sister from school without Killing her, I made a stupid deal with the reaper and I know you hate me. All I did was add more pressure and betted my life"

Bile rose in my throat, I threw the cover of me and ran to the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind me. I place my hands on both side of the sink and stared at myself in the mirror.

This cant be happening

I heard knocking on the door but I ignored it. The thought came to me

How did I get back here...to my room

Taking a deep breath myself I cleaned myself up in the toilet ignoring the pounding in my head.

I opened the door and Dayna was gone, walking back to my room I shut my door just I got changed I realised something was on my desk..

A black Cloth.

What the

Ignoring it I threw it in the bin, but something about it made me lean over and pick it up.

The cloth was ripped up and seemed as if it was old. It was black more like a faded black with some greyish steaks in it. I opened my bag and popped it in there.

My mum and dad weren't home, they probably went to work and Dayna was nowhere in sight. So I ate my breakfast and made my way to school

Entering the building I took of my coat and walked to the sofa were the girls were sitting. Seeing my arrival they screamed.

" OMG ARE YOU OK?" Alisa asked

Leema and Teelia nodded at the question looking at me for the answer.

I had the massive urge to tell them everything but I couldn't so I responded with a nod

" Yeah, I got away ok, as you can see I'm alive and kicking" I smiled

All three of them sighed in relief.

" oh hey did you know a new boy is starting today" Teelia told me

" A new boy, first time hearing this" I replied

It was very rare that someone new would join our school no wonder everyone was buzzing.
