Lucy was tired...Lucy was too tired of her comrades barging in her house like they owned it,in fact it annoyed her..But this new year,no one barged in...Which surprised the blonde..
Except for those disturbing sounds she heard from the kitchen...
After she reached her kitchen,the sight of Natsu and Happy lying across the room,sleeping.
A part of her was just irritated by it and another part of her was bewildered by the sight of the way fairy tail's fire dragon slayer sleeps..
It was adorable..
Just too adorable...In Fact it was too adorable just for a smile to form on Lucy's face
Considering the fact that he might punch her again while sleeping,Lucy decided to back of a bit and let these two rest for a while..
After dressing up,Sounds of fireworks being used were heard from the outside,making Lucy turn her head to the window and lean against it while watching it...
"Luuuuuccceeee..."A loud raspy voice was heard across the room...Lucy flinched at the sight of the salmon haired fire dragon slayer,laying across the room...
"Natsu?!"
"Luuuceee,tell them to shut up!!!I need sleep!!!"
"If that's your reason of waking up and crawling around my apartment then just tell them to shut up!"Lucy hissed.
"But I don't want too!"Natsu whined,approaching Lucy,tugging her nightgown like a little child.
"I said shut up,Natsu!"Lucy growled,tugging her nightgown away from Natsu,causing silence fill the room..
"Those fireworks do seem a lot nice these New Year's.." Natsu said with his gaze averted towards the window and no longer Lucy's nightgown in order to break the silence that just filled the room...
"Yah they sure do.."
"Why do people use fireworks to celebrate New Year?"
"Because it's special?"Lucy replied unsure of what to say.
"Figures...."
"..."
"Hey!Luce?"
"What?"
"Happy New Year!"
"Happy New Year,Too!"Lucy smiled.
"I love you.."He said,leaning against her shoulder while yawning...This statement of this sleepy fire dragon slayer made the blonde end up in a flustered mess..."I-I Lo-Love you too,I guess..."She replied nervously,petting his soft pink-salmon hair..
