"Hide? Where are you? Are you home?" What was going on? Amai was worried, what happened to Hide? She looked everywhere in the house, the lounge room, the kitchen,his recording room (he is a YouTuber) and even the ever so familiar bedroom. She even went so far and looking I'm cupboards and cabinets for him. Amai picked up her phone and called him for the eighth time in the past 10 minutes, but, it once again went straight to voice mail.

She wasn't about to give up! She opened her messages and sent another one, asking where he was. They had only been delivered to his phone, waiting for him to open them and read them. But, that time didn't come....

She let out a small sigh and frowned.

"Wait, I haven't looked in the basement!"

She decided to look there, before going out and asking if anyone had seen the red haired neko. Opening the door slowly, the first thing she saw caught her attention. Even though it was pitch black, she saw something stand out. Two glowing light blue orbs. Her mind wandered as she walked towards them, shortly after bumping into a steady figure. The owner of the glowing lights....

"What the-"

Before she even had a chance to continue her sentence, a soft hand grapsed around her mouth.

She realised she must have ran into someone who... Isn't in the best of moods, inside her boyfriends basement. Without a moment's hesitation, the unknown figure pushed her against the wall.

She was to scared to move... To scared to talk.... To scared to do anything but let this guy push her around.

They pinned her by the shoulders and without thinking, she felt around for the light switch. She flicked it on in a hurry.

She felt like she was going to pass out when she saw the person. Hide.

He looked so agressive.... This isn't the guy she loved. His normally green eyes were what shined blue in the dark.

Not being able to think clearly, she just stood and stared.

"What the hell are you doing here?" His normal gentle tone was changed. Full of... Hatred.... He looked mad... She just didn't understand....

"Hide? What.... What happened to you...?" She blurted out as soon as he removed his hand from her mouth.

He smirked... His smile was different.... Cold....

Tears welled in her eyes as he suddenly pressed his forearm hard against her throat, causing her to start choking.

He was never like this before... So violent.... Cold... She couldn't describe it...

Her pale pink eyes widened as he pulled out a blade. He pressed it against her cheek.

She closed her eyes, hoping it was a dream, but snapped back to reality when her crimson blood trickled from where the knife was.

"Hide! P-please stop thi-this....!" She gasped, not being able to breath.

Hide laughed.

A cold bitter laugh

Her mind snapped back to all the times she made him laugh... Never like this though.

Then it stopped... The blade started shaking, and fell to the ground with a violent crash.

She looked at him, stared into his eyes. The where changing colour? The cold blue eyes that could of shot daggers had changed, filling with actual emotions, and switching to green.

The eyes Amai knows well.

She saw the look of despair on his face as he took a shaky step back.

"Hide?" But before she even managed to ask him what happened, he was gone. The knife going with him.

She looked ahead,shock consuming her body. She wanted to give up and not worry about it... He tried to kill her.... But... No, she had to go find him!

She took a wobbly step, then another one, and another,until she was running, close behind him.

She lost sight of him around the park, but spotted him a short while later, his hands in him pockets and his hoodie pulled up, covering most of his face. She saw... A red liquid dripping from his wrists.

She ran up to him and spun him around.

"Amai....?"

He fell to his knees

"What... Happened there? I was scared...."

"When I'm mad... He comes out.... I'm sorry... He's getting harder to control..." He rested his head on his shoulders and hugged her.

"I'm sorry.... I-i-im so-sorry...." Tears gushed from his eyes. He cried. He just broke down in her arms....

"Just promise me.... Don't harm yourself again.... O-ok?"

"Kinda hard when I did what I did... I'm sorry for hurting you... And scaring you... I'm.... I'm a monster who doesn't deserve to live...."

"Please, don't say that!" Tears welled in her eyes

"Don't apologize Hide! It isn't your fault... I will grow to love this side of you.... As long as... It can love me back... Look, let's get you to mine so I can bandage you up...."

"What about you! Your cheek....Is still bleeding...."

"We can sort it out...."

Amai dragged Hide back to her house.

"You will be staying with me until I'm sure your better..."

Amai grabbed her medical kit and started to clean his wounds.

"What? With you? I'll just put you in more danger though...."

"No.... I love you hide...."

"I'm sorry Amai...."

"I love you...."

"I love you too"
