Chapter 16:
Caleb's POV:
How do I know when I like someone? Ugh. I've been thinking about this every day for 2 whole weeks. Eventually I think of one person that will help me through this. Annie. She always knows what to say.
Annie's POV:
I'm scrolling through Instagram stalking one of my favorite edit accounts, but being careful not to like any pictures because that's not fair to the other accounts. And suddenly I hear footsteps running up the stairs and eventually getting closer to my room. I know that it is either Caleb or Hayley because mom and dad don't like it when we run in the house. Caleb barges into my room and looks at me and says "Annie, I really need advice!!" I knew it! He's not sure if he likes Sydney or not! "Yeah what about?" I say casually just to make it seem like I'm oblivious. "I-I-I- I think..." He starts off slowly an then blurs the rest of his sentences together "I like Sydney! But I don't know if I do or not. I don't know if I just feel bad for her, or if I really like her!!"
Sydney's POV:
Ugh. Mrs Katie is late to pick me up. I already have all my lies together to tell my therapist and her. [Mrs Katie walks up to door and knocks] phew she's here. Finally.
Mrs Katie's POV: (MOM)
Sydney doesn't really have a therapist appointment today. Her therapist is sick, but I need to talk to her really bad. I think that she is self harming again. I knock on her door and she is waiting there. I say: let's go!! I drive to the ice cream place and we get ice creams. She is wondering what the heck is going on this entire time, but really, I'm just stalling. I don't know how to even begin this conversation. I knew I should have told her mom and dad!! "So Sydney." (They are sitting in the ice cream store) [a fan walks up to them] [they don't notice] "have you been self harming again?" Sydney looks at me with her eyes so wide. Her chin starts to quiver and her eyes look like she is about to cry.
Vanessa's (fan) POV:
OMG OMG OMG!!! I think I see Sydney from Sydnastical. And Mrs Katie from Bratayley! This is a dream come true! I whip out my phone and start recording. I hear Katie (mom) say have you been self harming again? And Sydney's reaction! OMG! THIS IS CRAZY! This will make my Instagram become like 10000x more popular! Yes! I walk away with a grin on my face.
